Today I turned off their light. For the past few days, there has been no more water. Now they will be in darkness for 1-2 days and then I will hang them for about 10 days before they get their Curing. I’m curious to see what they will weigh. I’m also curious about the root ball.
Here are a few more pictures
Such a beautiful grow, congrats!
Many thanks

Today was harvest time. The larger leaves were removed and then I hung everything in the tent on the SCROG net. The humidity is 61% and the room temperature is 14.3 °C.
All in all, a good amount came together. There were also some nice buds.
Now it’s time to wait two weeks, then weigh, and then comes the Curing.
My biggest concern was that I had chosen a pot that was too small, even after some people thought the roots would strangle or suffocate each other. However, this grow taught me otherwise.
As you can clearly see here, they had enough space to develop. There was no root circling and no discoloration from dying off. The roots were well-grown, white, and healthy. Everything was as it should be.
We will find out exactly how much it turned out to be in two weeks when the buds are dried and weighed before Curing.
This was a beautiful grow man, congrats on it and I hope you really enjoy the harvest!
Thanks, I definitely will. There were moments when I doubted it, but in the end, it turned out well.
Yesterday the harvest was sufficiently dried.
Here are some pictures of the trimmed buds
After trimming, it was weighed. In total, the grow yielded me 135 g of finished flowers.
They will now be well packed for at least one month of curing.
All in all, I have to say the run didn’t go badly. The last grow was a SOG with 9 plants (~ 160 g, plus 25 g moldy buds
Nice conclusion.
Good job.

In my opinion, it just needs to be taken into account that each plant in the pot needs its own amount of fertilizer.

How long did you veg for? What you got is just under what I average for 1 plant vegger for 40-50 days. I’m wondering if this could significantly shorten my grow cycle or if it would only save me a couple weeks. The risk of one finicky plant not being OK with the feeding regime worries me because all the plants in the pot would get the same treatment even if the others are fully healthy. I really want to weigh the pros and cons out here and see if this is actually worth the effort. Especially since I grow in 10gal pots I’m thinking I could fit 3 easily and I have 6 total pots so that’s 18 plants I could run. It’s more seeds to buy and more phenotype growing at one shot which can make things tricky. But I could run clones and make all things even to overcome the cost and the possibilities of rouge plants.
From germination to early flowering, it was 8 weeks. For the first 4 weeks, they were by the window because I was on vacation during that time. I think that if they had been in the tent from the beginning, I would have reached 6 weeks from germination to early flowering phase. I’ve also tried with SOG and I believe that the more plants you have, the shorter the vegetative phase needs to be to fill the tent.
10 gallons are 38 liters if I’m not mistaken. There should be a lot more growing on them than I have; I have a 60×60×160 cm / 2×2×5 1/3 tent and therefore always have to make sure they don’t get too big for me.
I think once I get a tent for clones I’m going to try this. I’m not comfortable using different seeds of the same strain just for logistics of different phenotypes. I had my doubts about this experiment from the beginning but now I think you changed my point of view.
I’m glad to hear that, it’s nice when you can inspire someone.
You should make sure to give them more nutrients compared to a single plant per pot, that was my mistake at the beginning.
I’m going to start with my soil ammendmended like I would in preparation for a water only grow. Then I’ll do bi weekly top dresses to keep it topped up. Normally in a water only grow I wouldn’t top dress at all. In my normal grows I top dress 1x a month. So I figure if I do larger top dresses more frequently hopefully I’ll be able to keep up with the demand. You had 3 plants in the pot, did you feed 3x the nutrients or was it a bit less than that. Sorry I’m trying to figure this out like it’s my next grow but it probably won’t happen for about a year when I get a clone tent. I’m just like a kid in a candy store. It’s not everyday I get to think about a new way of growing. It really has me intrigued.
I can totally understand that, I always dream of my grow and constantly think about where I can improve things.
I gave three times the amount of nutrients with every watering. Not from the beginning, though. I started with 1/3 and then increased to triple. I used liquid organic fertilizer. In the end, I had small burns on the leaf tips, but only 2-3 mm, so everything was still within limits.
If you have any questions about your grow, I’m happy to help you. I’m very interested to see how it goes for you and especially if you get a good harvest.
I have to say something here, I’ve noticed that the new translator often doesn’t translate the translated content in its full version.
That’s how I see it with BluntForceTrauma420, what was written 4 and three hours ago. Translated into German, it only shows a part and not the rest.
If I turn off the translator here and translate via PC, I can read everything.
So somehow the translator only works partially.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Many greetings and keep going in rhythm hehehe. Herr_gruen you have been very inspiring with your three in one pot.
Let’s see if I don’t do that in a 40 liter pot.
Paule wishes you all a nice evening
I haven’t noticed the translation issue other than sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Maybe tag Eli or gaz said there is a feedback tab that will get faster and easier results. I know they are trying their best to add useful tools so the feedback would help. Also maybe send in a screenshot of it being partially translated so they have a clear image of what’s happening. Hopefully it can be fixed because it’s a great tool that I haven’t seen on another grow forum.
The translator is dope and has really opened up the community. Otherwise, I would never even look at the other pages. It also interesting to see how detailed everyone is on the German thread!
Hey, yes, the tool is great, but it still has gaps. I’ll take some screenshots and report it. I’ve noticed this a few times on different pages. It’s a shame when a part gets lost in translation.
I wish you a nice evening.
See you then, Paule
