Help with outdoor

Hi everyone! I’m new here! I’m challenging myself to get rid of brick weed, and I started an outdoor grow with what I had. I killed several seedlings, but I think it’ll work out this time! Lol Here in the Southeast, it’s raining a lot, I’m afraid my seedlings won’t enter the vegetative stage.

Can anyone

It may be too late to get a run honestly. What are your daylight hours at? What are your temps also?

I hope it’s not too late! I have the privilege of keeping her in direct sunlight all the time. Even if it’s not sunny, she receives direct illumination in the backyard during all daylight hours. Since we are in spring, I believe it’s 12/12. Average temperature of 23 to 27.

I thought you meant southeast US. You may have placed it outside too early. It may go into flower and once the daylight hours go 14+ it will reveg. Hopefully not but it sounds like it may. Either way I think your seedling should be fine with the rain.

to add on to blunts info you could also add a light out doors on them for few hours after sun goes down just to keep plants awake and maintain veg ( I believe lots of growers in Spain use this technique) like a 100w outdoor light and then when more sun light is available you can keep light off.

Also welcome to the community and congrats on the new hobby, lots of wonderful people here with lots of knowledge so feel free to ask any questions you may have..

as for outdoor seedlings depending on the environment it can be pretty rough at times and if your able to make some sort of covering for them to protect from constant rain that should help a great deal as they want the humidity right now but don’t have much need for all the water until more established

hahaha, BR in this case. Thanks for the info.

Hey, thank you so much for the prompt response! I’m hoping my plants stay beautiful and healthy throughout the whole process. Regarding the additional light after sunset, I’m already planning it, as this can trick the plant into staying in vegetative growth longer.

Since I’m very committed and don’t have the best setup, I’m researching low-investment items I can get, such as pH meters and other gadgets. I saw that when they enter the vegetative stage, it’s good to add vegetable fertilizer to the soil; I believe I’ll go this route. Since they are in pots, I can move them out of the rain if needed.

Thank you!!!
