Ammonium Sulfate to Lower soil pH before

Has anyone ever used ammonium sulfate to as a soil acidifier before?
Current pH reading: 7.5
Soil: Fox Farm
Fem Outdoor in 10 gallon fabric grow pots
Strains: Glue Dream, Black Diamond OG, Golden Ticket and Sundae Driver.
Been using nutrients once a week, just started doing twice a week the last couple weeks:
Fox Farm Cha-Ching.

I purchased some brand HI-YIELD Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 and all the directions say is apply 3/4 pound per 100 square feet and water generously.

Does anyone have better instructions? How much i should really use per plant? Should I mix it with new soil first and then apply? mix it with the water? Novice Grower here.

Thank you for any help it is really appreciated.

Ammonia is toxic to plants in high levels. I personally wouldn’t use it. I also believe it is an ingredient in Cha-ching, which is why I returned it to the store. What you may have meant to say is aluminum sulfate. That is what you need. Moreover, it would be better to add the product to your soil before you plant in it and check the ph before using it.
