Does anyone have tips for growing autos? I’ve heard these are good seeds to start out with but exactly should I expect growing it? Any advise or tips are welcome and appreciated!
Hello, I would not say that autoflowers are easy to grow. They are afraid of stress, they need good conditions, as well as photoperiod ones. But they ripen faster and they do not need to change the light mode and complete darkness in the tent is not so important. They will bloom anyway. If you can’t provide a perfect light mode and complete darkness at night in a tent, then autoflowers will be better there. I started with photoperiod ones, they are less prone to stress and you can use them to make such a bush as you need. Here’s a look at what I do with the photoperiod variety, autocolor would not survive this.

@520grower It is important for you to understand that cannabis is a plant that under stress begins to struggle to survive. Photoperiod Female plants can pollinate themselves, hermaphrodites can be. And autoflowering under stress will try to bloom immediately, maybe a dwarf will turn out. That those that those need stable conditions. 1 this is a good ground, 2 light, 3 humidity and favorable temperature, and of course good nutrition.
The thing with autoflowers is that everything happens faster. You might go to bed and the next morning you see 2 new grown leaves, so if you have issues with the plant, you have to react fast.
You can even go 20/4 hours of light that they will be good. But you definitely need to pay more attention to auto flowers.
I usually go for regular fem seeds, I like to decide when to switch to flowering to get the most out of it.
