Are my plants doing ok?

Hello, I am a new first time grower, and I need help. I am growing 3 different strains, all unknown and it has been about 3 weeks since I’ve planted. I’m growing indoors, with a 20watt LED grow light to get started (will increase as time goes on. I’m not adding any nutrients atm, and I am using fox farm soil. I have compared my 3 weeks to other 3 week photos ajd I feel my plants are stunting growth. Any advice to help my plants grow better, bigger, increase yield etc?

20 watts are good for seedlings, but pretty soon growth will slow down compared to other plants grown under stronger lights. You can try moving the light closer to the seedlings to help this, but very soon you will need to upgrade. Hopefully they won’t overcrowd each other being so close together.

Here’s a pretty sweet guide if it will help: Choosing an LED

Also welcome! :slightly_smiling_face:

Welcome to the community @Minikush18 , I agree with @SommerV . Maybe you need to add a guide like a stick in the soil to tie the plant so it doesn’t fall, it seems to be stretching for the light. I would put it closer to the plant.

Thank you for the advice

Okay will do! Thank you!

i dont think having three plants in the some pot is a good idea. maybe try to transplant the smaller ones if you can.

First welcome to the community!! I agree with everyone else as well, add a guide so they can lean on it and stand upright and get them a little more light so they grow outwards vs stretching upwards as they use a lot of energy stretching for light and don’t have much energy left to grow outwards. Also they are very young and don’t require much water at all, they should grow a little faster with less water. Try to water only around the base of the stems with about 20-30ml of water for each girl, slowly pour the water around the plants stalk so the water travels down so it encourages the roots to travel downwards in search of more water ultimately marking the roots larger and longer so the plant has a solid foundation to start building the top end above the soil! @Minikush18 also in the future the plants roots will fight for room with 3 in one pot and could end up strangling themselves battling for space and oxygen, always best one plant per pot

Having 3 seedlings that’s close probably isn’t the best idea only because they might react completely different when you start feeding nutrients and it will get very crowded with all the veg growth that will be soon to come my suggestion is carefully place 2 into they own pots and eventually upgrade your lights like everyone else is saying and I think you’ll be good to grow!
