I know this is a tad different question, but…
How many out there use sound to soothe their girls? I often talk to them while checking on them. I also set my speaker out on the deck next to them with some music from time to time. My family, who are experienced farmers, swear that all plants respond to this. Thoughts?
I think the Mythbusters proved plants grow faster to rock music. And talking to plants just pushes co2 at them. So it also helps them grow.

Some japonese scientit made an experience with rice in water. 3 cups and every day he would say something to them. One talked with love, another with anger, another just let it stay. The results were awesome. Just google it

Yeah that’s the video I saw but it’s a video on the internet, I can’t confirm the results from it. Better to be skeptical than blindly accept it as truth but it’s interesting and I do agree plants probably respond to being talked to. I think it’s possible!
There are few people who did that and documented too.

even my nan used to swear talking to the plants helps them grow. turns out there’s been a ton of studies done on plant communications and whatnot, its pretty fascinating stuff. for example oak trees have been shown to protect their offspring LOL.
masaru emotos work has been replicated by hundreds of schoolchildren, its an amazing science project for kids. there was one girl that made the news, she fed plants water that she had either said warm fuzzy stuff like i love you to, and to the other i hate you. the plant fed the hate water died, the other one thrived.
anecdotal sure but compelling nonetheless.

I’ve got a pipe in hand excuse me but I had a thought,what if your voice got roughed up in an accident and it didn’t sound too good when you talked, would your plants still respond well when spoken to? 
I would be sad if I said I love you everyday and it made them die bc my voice was bad

I had the oportunity to work on a farm in california and they had all this mistycism around their growing. It was a biodynamic garden and they added some other ways to that form of gardening as playing music, talking to them and all kinds of other crazy atuff and i can tell you i have never seen such beautiful plants, so i do some stuff like that when i grow.

I thought I was alone. I tell them good morning, good night. I sing to them. Tell them jokes. Tell them what kinda a weather is coming. Their just plants I thought. I even find myself waking up in the middle of night thinking about them. Did I water them enough etc.? I rather have kids. Worrying all the time.
