Hello, I’m preparing the harvest, I’ve been watering only with the last few weeks. today and tomorrow will be in total darkness and without watering.

I would wait a couple more weeks you still have quite a few white hairs and you have some ripening time as well if you chop down now you would have wasted all this time you put into them with subpar results and yields up to you though mate.

And I’m not sure what your temps are running in your tent but I would lower them down to 65-60f

it’s in the 9th week of flowering I think it’s ready it doesn’t dry out the roots don’t absorb water anymore and the pristils are fine

You’ll see I told you so when you cut them down you will be very disappointed you didn’t wait. :man_shrugging:t4:

I’ll keep on…

Let me get some back up in here that might can shed better light if you gentleman don’t mind. @Deanroche @Rasta_Free-Man @SJ1 in my personal opinion I feel as though something went wrong for our friend here at first I thought maybe more time was needed for buds to mature but after closer inspection they look larfy and we’re maybe victims of stress and simply aren’t capable of reaching their full potential now please feel free to voice your opinions as well.

Yeah, if this auto is in it’s ninth week… something isn’t right… maybe bad genetics, maybe environment, maybe nutrients… or feeding schedule, hard to say. I still see many white pistols and just doesn’t “look ready”… I also see leaf tips damaged and curling up.

I haven’t seen any microscopic pics of trichomes on the flower in the thread… also very helpful when determining “Readiness”

Agreed, looks like she suffered something stressful at some point during flower. Maybe an event that happened? Or something was slightly out with your grow, maybe heat for example. I had that last year, turns out when the plant is stressed it puts its resources into survival, and not making buds.

Or you are just unlucky and had a bad pheno like me, my grow was on point but I just got a mutant freakazoid that turned out terrible, even though the other one of the same genetics was amazing. Luck of the draw…

Only question is now what to do with it. You could sample a bud now and see if it is ready, do nothing and wait for her to finish, or do a partial harvest and take the ripest buds now and wait for the others.

Depending on the quality of the smoke, if its not that great, you might want to think about making edibles, or concentrates with her.

@EMASF , I was hoping for microscopic pics of the trichomes. They sell clip on ones for your phone or small hand held ones for cheap.
So you can close up pictures of the trichomes like this:
