Back After Steep Learning Curve

After a very steep learning curve, and 2 failed beginner grows (no shame) finally have my next grow underway:

LSD Auto x 2 by Barney’s Farm in 11L pots
Auto Amnesia x 2 in just 1L pots, as I got free seeds.

Tent: Secret Jardín DS60 2x2, 150w LED, extractor fan and carbon filter. And scrubber fan inside of course.

Soil: Canna Terra Professional with 20% perlite added. Definitely noticing much better drainage this time round already and I’m watering much less. Last time I unknowingly used a coco mix with little perlite which ended up in binning two plants due to deficiencies & over watering.

So far so good, the two Amnesias are about 2 weeks ahead of the LSDs (planted earlier due to longer flowering times).

Also got a Bluelab pH pen so pH is spot on.

I let the soil dry out just a bit too much one day last week and saw slight discoloration on one Amnesia’s leaves but bounced right back after I semi soaked the soil. All new growth looking normal since. See below:

Right now I’m watering deep into the pot maybe every 3 days and just spraying the top soil everyday lightly to keep it moist.

1st grow was the one with coco, second my LED died into the first week and had to bin the seedlings and wait for manufacturer to replace the unit…

Fingers crossed, hopefully this one makes it to harvest!

They are looking good. That discoloration at the tip of the leaves won’t go away, but you don’t have to worry about it.

Thanks Nico yeah not worried about the leaves.

All going good still, slightly overwatered this morning and plants have drooped.

Aerated the soil by slightly squeezing the sides of each pot and have upped my extractor fan to try dry them out. It’s definitely a curve figuring out the waterings.

Yes, that is no easy at all. I learned that the hard way sadly.
I use to watch the plants once a day sometimes twice right before and after work, then I change that and started paying much attention, the results were amazing.
Some people spend an hour a day sometimes more on their garden.
