Any Idea why these girls are showing these yellow streaks? Growing in happy frog at the moment and it’s about 80°f with the RH at about 30. I Water with some pretty good spring water over here in the mountains of NorCal, so im not too sure the ph is a problem. Also another local grower told me the spring water was great for her outdoor plants. Unfortunately my calibrating solution got poured down the drain before i could do any calibrating (working on that).
Also does the spacing look abnormal at all?
Looks pretty similar to the problems i had with mine, from the leaf twisting and the spots id say calcium deficiency, probably best to be checking ur ph asap, could just be down to that and humidity is definitely a little low, should be 40% to 60% ideally
Okay thanks. How long did it take after makjng the ph adjustments for them to look healthy again?
Welcome to the community @ctrist916.
Do you know the humidity in your tent?
thanks! Yeah thats really the only evironmental factor i dont have a handle on, I just recently baught a humidifier but the RH is always right below 30%. Is that something i can live with for now? At least until my plants get bigger and start bringing the humidity up themselves. Im growing 6 large plants and will be transplanting them into 10 gallon pots to eventually fill a 10x5 space.
didnt take long at all, 24 hours and there were clear improvements
Hi @Littlegee1988 I had that problem to and once you get the treat then its in no time you see the difference, happy growing
I think you’ll be ok once you transplant em to bigger pots. Between 55 and even 70% you should be alright
Thanks everyone for the help btw! Just transplanted and I’m thinking that might have been part of my problem. Also I finally calibrated my PH pen and turns out the PH was a little more on the alkaline side (7.5) than I would like it. I’m simply adding a little PH down to their water untill it’s around 6.5. Don’t know how much the ph being that high actually had to do with the yellow streaks and pale leaves, but I’m more comfortable with it around 6.5. they’re starting to look better now. Maybe a little too bushy though not sure?
