Want to see what you guys think about this grow. She’s still going and has 2-3 weeks before she’s supposed to be ready.

It looks really good for a 4 month old. doesn’t look ready yet but still you can check that using a magnifying glass, for the pictures it seems you’re no there yet, but it will give you a better estimate.
Those buds seem to have transparent trichome heads, but it’s better to take a look

Yea, she’s not ready yet. most of the trichomes are cloudy but the ones that are not cloudy are still clear. All signs point to finishing right on schedule at 10-11 weeks. I am being patient as I want this strain more in the body than in the head.

Hell yeah! We’ll see in a few weeks.

I went ahead and chopped her. Did a quick trim of the large fan leaves and she’s hanging to dry. I took some 20x pictures a few days ago. But yesterday I checked on her and I didn’t want her to get any more amber. Didn’t grab pictures, I wanted to get her cut down and into drying.

Sounds good, no disturbing the buds.

I had planned to do 48 hours of darkness before chopping and should have turned the lights off on Friday but I didn’t think she was ready yet.

Thanks for sharing your log. I’m a new grower so your log will be a good reference for me to tell the stage that my plants are at. They look delicious by the way.

She yielded 115g of dried bud and 25g of dry trim & shake.

Thanks @Pacman. They smell so spicy and fruity. I always focus on high CBD strains, and this Cannatonic is by far the tastiest smelling strain I have grown by far. She was also way heavier of a yielder than I expected.

All the grow journals say to be mindful of the humidity to ward off mold but she was a breeze to grow. She wasn’t picky about her diet, she handled high temps when it cooked a Harlequin next to her. I got some seeds out of her for next year too.

Nice!! I love the old scale you use. It’s all digital now

It’s just what I had. I used to have a digital food scale that I could zero out. But we never used it so we tossed it. I am not super concerned with the exact amounts I harvest. It is all personal use so measuring is just for markers to tell me how well I did really. I found it at an estate sale for $1. My kids play with it most of the time. Then I pull it out to measure my harvests like a cartel member.
