Cleaning Tent After Harvest

Hey everyone I just finished my second season and harvested 6oz from two plants! Along the way I hit a speed bump and would love some advice.

In week 6 of flowering my girls got spider mites. However after a nice battle with them in the end I was able to make it to harvest while keeping them at bay. I got these clones from another person so I’m pretty sure they must’ve come in that way.

Now I’ve harvested, and want to know how to clean my 5x5 tent and the room it’s in. To ensure the mites don’t ever return. Ive already bought a new tent anyway but I still want to clean this one before I tear it down.

I went to my local hydro shop and they gave me a can of Doktor Doom Mite Knockout to spray in the corners of my tent and room. Will that be enough?

What do you all do to clean your grow room/tent post harvest? Do you go more hardcore when pests are involved?

That’s a great topic Aiduhrous, Iv bought new Mars hydro 5*5ft. Tent and have noticed some leafs with bites gone out of them so AiduhrousI have to have pesticides, is there something I can spray on flower that won’t harm my flower, any help appreciate :+1::pray:

Great topic. I’ve always cleaned the tent after harvesting. I do it outside with soap and water, let it dry and see the outcome.
You can use that Doktor Doom Mite Knockout to stay the whole tent, give it a day and then clean the whole tent as if you’re washing your car. Let it dry and see how it went.
They need things to feed, when you remove the plants they have no business there unless you have other plants nearby.
