Clone is wilting

Growlog link
I have a clone it was given to me and already put in a bucket with holes and rocks in the bottom. It’s not looking too good.he just watered it before I got it. what light setting should my grow lights be on and should I transplant it

If it has roots coming out, then yes it’s time for a transplant. If at all possible, use good soil with lots of aeration and no rocks. How big is the clone and what type of lights do you have? Ideally you want 18 On/6 Off and depending on the light, could need to go as high as 24". So, more info please.

I wish I could post pics from my phone I have a light with 3 settings red blue and purple and now they are worse no roots showing. It’s like 3in high…

The clone needs to feed through its leaves and not the stem. How are you setup for cloning? Is it under a dome? You have to supply humidity so that the clone can absorb the moisture. Is the stem brown and shows signs of wilting as well?

At lights out, spray under the leaves and dome it up, doing so every so often to replace the moisture inside as well as give the clone fresh air. Take the rocks out. They can do no good.

To post pics, you need to go on the website through your phone’s browser. I don’t know what type of lights they are but normal scheduling of 18 On-6 Off is fine. You can fashion a dome from a clear plastic pop bottle with a hole up top to allow for air exchange.

the stem is weak but not brown or to badly wilted I had to transplant he used top soil on the bottom as filler… does the dome need to be as big as the pot or can it just fit around the plant… sorry it was just given to me wasnt ready and have no idea how to grow lol…

As long as it fits around the plant with enough free space for the leaves to move, it should be fine. Just remember that the clone will be drinking in moisture from the leaves and not the stem so don’t over-water your media or you can get root rot. Focus on keeping the inside of your dome moist.

I don’t know if you’ve seen this but I made a pictorial on how I clone:

Thank you soo much:grin::grin::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: the bigger leaves are done but the new leaves that were coming in kinda perked back up. I think she will be fine now thanks to you:grin::grin: your picture walkthrough was very helpful…
