I am growing in a bathroom that shares a cat litter box . It can get smelly in there. Will my plant absord any of these orders?
I don’t think it will absorb odors from anything unless it’s drying in there as well but I could be wrong. I’d be more worried about the airborne bacteria from every flush of the toilet. Mythbusters did an episode where in like a 10’x10’ bathroom 1 flush coats the entire room in harmful bacteria. That’s with the lid down on the toilet if I recall correctly. But I get it you have to work with what you have available to you.
Cedar chips will nutrilize the smell and not affect the plant , but I agree with @BluntForceTrauma420 about the bacteria in the bathroom. But if that’s all you got…unless it’s an extra bathroom that don’t get used except by the cats.
I would also suggest keeping an eye on your cats…mine are stoners and will eat my plants if left in the open 
I ended up moving the litter box. No one uses that bathroom, so I’m not worried about flushing. My cat did nibble on my first grow but stopped after throwing up every time.
My cats like to use my tent as a scratching pole so I feel some of your pain. Cats are just going to be cats.
