Hey guys, new to this⦠First time grower long time smoker. Weāre about 4 weeks in, the wife clipped off some leaves for better air/light. I noticed these things and wondered if its still too early to tell.
If you donāt have a growlog please answer these questions.
What strain are you growing? I donāt know probably dreadhead og
Is it Auto, Fem or Reg? Reg
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor? Indoor
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much? Honestly not sure at this point. The wife takes care of that department.
Iāll add pictures as soon as I figure it outā¦
edit: yea i cant add pics
Too early. It doesnāt look bad for 4 weeks from seed, especially considering itās bagseed. My plants arenāt usually much bigger in height by this time but they are bushier.
It looks 6-8" tall so just stop trimming it and let it grow out for a bit
What youāre looking for in a female are little white whispy hairs protruding from those same areas you showed us in your pics. Commonly referred to as pistils⦠They are actually called stigmas and they are what catches pollen for reproduction. The āpistilā refers to all reproductive parts.
note: I wish I took a photo last week when they were first developing. It showed the small bract with 2 hairs sticking out
at the node perfectly but hopefully this still helps!
I got a photo for you @ImpaLa604 this was when I noticed it was flowering day number 1, this is the very first sign of a female beginning to flower. Gotta zoom in a little at the nodes
Well I have 5 plants and either Iām blind or canāt tell⦠one thing I did find out is that I might not be providing enough light. One: because my lights are 200w and two: i have em on a 16/8.
But I think I see a ball im one of em and im scarred for em.
2 pics of the couldbe pollen sac and 1 of just how much theyāve grown. They are in week 4-5
@VonNnoV Normally youāll see first signs at the top and second node from the top (both areas you circled) they are still pretty young though I donāt think I saw the first sign of preflower until 5 weeks or so once they were considered adults and ready to flip to flower. I do see a tear drop shaped growth in the picture with one circle and the question mark, on the left side where the fan leaf meets the stalk. Just keep givin them love and time and they will show you their gender soon, they look good though bro
