First time grower, HELP!

Hi all! hoping someone could help me identify what I’m doing wrong here. I’m growing in a tent, no nutrients yet, not sure what the strain is. I have the grow light on 18 hours on/ 6 off, humidifier in the tent, fan blowing air and extractor at the top. Leaves are turning brown and drying out, is this a watering issue?

They look like burning more than water issue but I don’t know the entire setup you have going

What type of soil are they in? Like Blazedpug wrote. Your setup? Definitely affecting all of them. What light source are you using? How close is it to your seedlings?

The new growth looks fine, the old leaves being brown like that is weird. My guess is the soil is lacking nutrients and its pulling from the old growth amd soon the new growth there. Need more info about what you are using, nuteients etc.

Your stem is really skinny so I’m thinking that your light source isn’t close enough. The seedling is so tall and skinny, the roots have developed bigger than what the pot size is and it’s not getting enough oxygen in its roots. Your old growth will keep on dying unfortunately. You’ll get gradual growth but it’ll stay stagnant.

My recommendation is to transplant it but wait for the soil to be dry so that the root ball won’t fall apart. This is what I would do and I’ve had times where it’s been successful and other times when it hasn’t. When you transplant it (if that’a what you Decide to do) make sure to bury the stem. You’ll get roots better developed when it’s buried.

If it goes right, you can expect it to grow but it will be slightly stunted because it has to catchup for how old it is.

Hopefully other people can chime in.

Good luck :+1:

Do you have ample air moving & circulating? This almost looks like overwatering issue, root rot… It’s my guess…

How often did you water

No nutrients added, can’t be toxicity. lol

Also make sure you have air movement at the seedlings level… No wind = no water respiration = Dry out
