If you don’t have a growlog please answer these questions.
What strain are you growing? Is it Auto, Fem or Reg?
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor?
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much?

Hi @skatman, welcome to the community!
What can I help you with, what are you trying to grow? indoor or outdoor? first-time grower?

Hello, havent started log yet our starters will be coming in a week or two. We will have 2 white widow and 2 blueberry, all fem’s, and this will be my first indoor grow. I will be using the spider farmer grow lights and I’m trying to familiarize myself with settings along with our ezgrow timer. To start our plants will already will be out of the seeding stage and just transitioning into veg. I know veg requires 18/6 and lights to be at 18 to 24 inches, but what intensity should I have my lights set at during this stage? Our grow room has been prepped and is heavily lined with the reflective insulator and I do not want burn them. I will have 3 small fans running and we also have an exhaust system with a heat and humidity sensor and I just want to make sure I have everything set correctly. I have only ever grown outside and there is more science involved indoors and I’m slightly overwhelmed.

Hello and welcome. For seedlings you will want to have your lights up high to begin. Of course, many variables will play into this, but I would start with any instructions in the manual that comes with your light. I’m thinking around 400 PAR will be a good place to start. If the leaves droop down the light is too strong and if they lift upwards, you can lower the light until they lay flat (horizontal). Once you find that spot, you can leave the light there and they should grow up into it without any problems. Once they become adults (3-4 weeks old), they will do well in 900 PAR. Anymore light than that will require additional Co2 over and above the natural atmosphere which is 400 ppm.

Some will claim to run your lights on veg only, but my feeling is my plants were happier under full spectrum. However, its personal choice in that regard.

I agree with Outdoorman on the full spectrum at all times. My light has a dimmer so I can adjust the intensity there but if yours doesn’t just raise it up. Plants in nature are always under the full spectrum of the sun, the difference is the intensity based on the time of year.

Check your light manufacturers specs. They usually provide estimated hang heights based off of a PAR test. If not, try searching YouTube for a PAR test done on your brand / model of light.

please assist me in pruning tips
my trees are almist ready for harvest but they verh bushy

Hi Skatman, sorry for the late reply, we were on holidays from the 24th until yesterday.
Did you harvest already? Is there something I can assist you with?

hi nico
i purchased auto flowering seeds but they have not yet matured and ready for harvest…well some of it…if i look at the crown they look good to harvest but there are alot of side branches that are jus not ready…some side branches looked ready 2weeks agi but now they have shot out more…if i really look at the trees i would say they need more time…but they older then 3moths now…

Older than 3 months for auto seeds, they should be ready by now.
The crown will always be the first to get ready to harvest, and it will be the best bud to smoke, the taste will be at it’s fullest compare with the rest of the buds.
There are side branches and what we call lollipops, which are the branches that grow in the bottom and the branches are thin and the buds don’t mature, some people leave that and smoke it too, I would just cut it.
And you have side branches, that depending on the sun, they will mature more or not so much.
You’ll need a magnifying glass to check the trichomes on the buds, preferable x40, or something between x20 and x40 will be good.
Your buds might be too mature, which makes the weed more intense, but after you smoke it you’ll probably be sleepy.
Sometimes you need to harvest the crown and some branches and let the rest mature.
Here’s an article about How to Harvest Your Cannabis Plants, it will help you identify if they are ready to cut and other questions you might have about it.

Hi Nico…thanks for the tips…looks like i will have to hatvest the crown first but i left it for another week now…my white widow crown has is growing new shoots also not sure why as the bottom half of the crown is budded nicely…
Another thing is that my leaves on my amnesia haze is turning yellow…what should i do???
thank you for all your assistance

It depends on the stage of your amnesia plant. The leaves tend to turn yellow in the flowering stage, if you can provide your Growlog, we can take a better look.
