Ssssooo today I went to go check on my two miracles and noticed that they are growing up but not out 
Or is this just normal ?
My lights are about 2 feet from the plants do they need to be lowered? It’s like they are reaching for light or maybe it’s just me?
It’s stretching up to the light. How high up are your lights? For a blurple, I started seedlings at around 30" and slowly lowered them until it stops stretching. Just keep in mind if you lower the light too much you may induce light/heat stress.

You need to lower them. Check your light specs and they will tell you about how far they should be from your seedling
