Hi, I think I’m getting close to harvesting my first plant but I’m a bit concerned with how the leaves have changed over the last week or so. Loads have gone yellow with purple patches and more than a few have dried up & curled. I can’t see any visible trichomes that have turned amber but most are cloudy. Have I got a big problem or is it just time to cut her up?

Yep! She is almost ready! Try to look the properties of that strain in the net! They always say how long flower takes

defo nearly ready! that leaf discoloration is normal, as long as its not the buds, just the leaves. they think its fall.
depending on the effect you are after then you can either harvest now, or wait a few more days for more amber to appear. that will give you a more couchlock effect.
i harvested a bud early just to test it and it was an energetic high, so i have let them mature a little longer til i got maybe 20-30% amber.

Thanks! If you “test” one first, are you not allowing it to dry/cure & just using “as is”?
oh yea you have to dry it first haha, but if you just take off a small popcorn or larfy bud from lower down they dry pretty quick. it will taste a little grassy but you can gauge the effect which is the point.

I usually use a vaporizer to test buds just trim a cpl nugs from the bottom let them dry out n vape to test them. Your buds looks so awesome btw I’m a huge fan of purple strains n wish I could find a good auto flower to get this color.
