If you don’t have a growlog please answer these questions.
What strain are you growing? Is it Auto, Fem or Reg?
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor?
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much?

First time grower

Orange Cookies Chem feminized
Inside 18/6 lights

Temp between 65-75
Humidity around 50%
about 6 weeks since germination

no added nutrients yet, I have big blooms and bud 5-4-2 should I start to use it?

The tips are growing yellow/brown. In the first couple of weeks there were temperature irregularities and it might have gone underwatered. The temp is now pretty consistent between 65-75

There were soil issues used some soil from a bag last year that had been outside thinking it would be fine and there were small white bugs in it. we transplanted the plant into new soil. Trying a soil that is supposed to help not over or underwatering.

Been watering it every other day once the soil has dried out just until the point where the soil is wet without drenching.

the first two sets of 2 leaves dried out and so i clipped them. Th newly growing leaves are getting yellow with some brown edges.

what can I do?

You need to adds some nutrients in the your mid veg right now she’s probably lacking a lot if you haven’t given it anything and if your soil was not amended with like a .5-.5-.5 then it has zero nutrients at all follow your feeding chart and give her a feed right away post a picture if you have one

In early veg you want to make sure she absorbs a lot of nitrogen and cal/mag if she’s showing deficiencies you want to try a fix through veg because photos have time to recover other that auto flowers where then flower in about 6 weeks

Also what size pot are you growing in ? If it’s a small pot you might need a transplant

Oh thanks! Yes that makes sense to add nutrients, I was way too focused on if I was watering too much or not enough. Will add nutrients, is the 5-4-2 growing stage fertizilier I have ok or should I buy a 5-5-5?

It’s in a 3" jiffy pot right now, should it be in a bigger pot while its so small?

I have photos but can not for the life of me figure out how to upload the app. The button that I think should do it, looks like an upload button isn’t working.

Welcome to the community @mztree. I would start adding some nutrients, the yellow leaves besides lack of nutrients could also be overwatering from all the issues you had, it seems to be the one.
You can use the weight of the plant to measure your next feed. You don’t necessarily need a scale, just feel the weight after you water, it’s easier to know when the plant needs water.

To add photos or links to a post, you need to use the desktop version of the community. Due to an external issue we have no power over it, we can’t post pictures using the mobile version. I would transplant too, being 6 weeks after germination.

If you have nutrients already you should be good just go according to your feeding chart and age of plant
