Hey everyone!
I just planted the germinated seeds in pots and I am wondering what type of light and for how long I have to use it when the seedling develops?
I am growing the plants in my livingroom so they do get some natural light but I am not sure if I need to supplement or not :s

If you don’t have a growlog please answer these questions.
What strain are you growing? Northern light and Purplematic
Is it Auto, Fem or Reg? Auto
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor?
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much?
This is a difficult question to answer. For Sativa you want about 70 watts per square foot. For Indica 60 watts per square foot. However, since they are babies you should keep the light approximately 36"-48" inches away and bring it closer as they grow. Adult plants can take up to 800-1000 PAR. I would keep the PAR (and I’m only guessing) around 150-250 until they are at least a couple weeks old and then gradually bring the light closer. Now you’ will need to decide whether to go with LED, MH, HPS, CFL, and the list goes on. You can get a 1500 watt King LED for around $160.00 and use less than 400 watts of power using the veg and bloom modes together for full spectrum.
ive done mine from seeds . i used a 300w castino led full spectrum light about 65cm away it wasnt too much for seedlings but it done the trick its a cheap £20 light also put at window when sun was out i wouldnt use suppliments or feed fir the first 3-14 days can cause problems with roots if they given too much feed early can stunt the roots
