Hgl UVA light

Hi. My first grow. Growing feminized photo barney’s farm in top fed dwc. 4 plants about 24 days into veg. Currently using a hgl 260 watt Bspec quantum board… will switch to hgl Rspec 600W board for flower. just got the hgl 30W UVA supplement… Do I use the uva light only during the 12/12 cycle. And for 12 hrs or for a shorter period of time? I have researched and found conflicting info so just wondering if anyone knew or had experience with UVA. Thanks for the input.

You can use it during the whole flowering cycle, from what I’ve heard is it makes the biggest difference during the final 2 weeks in the ripening stage. @marc_ame

thanks 209mike. would you have on the whole 12 hr light period or for only a few hrs during the light period?

I would at least run it for 6 hours a day for flowering but preferably the whole 12 hours of light during the final 2-3 weeks of flower @marc_ame

Thanks 209mike I’ll just run it 12 hrs with the rspec full spectrum quantum board. More for ease b/c the uva light will be inline with the board. Appreciate your advice. Can t wait to see the results of uva light.
