Currently trying to germinate my RQS Royal Dwarf, I soaked her 1st and am now on day 3 of paper towels but no sign of the seed cracking open yet! How long should I give it before giving up and starting another?
I only ever grow one plant at a time so don’t have the luxury of germinating multiple seeds.
Typically around day 5 is when I give up hope but will let it go for an extra 2 days just in case but realistically if it hasn’t popped by day 5 it more than likely wont
OK cool I got a couple more days! nice one @SoulOurGarden I really wanted this one to pop! I’ll keep you updated, I got a bunch more seeds but this is the only one that would be ready for Christmas 
So I’m not the one to take advice from but I went ahead and planted the seeds that didn’t germinate in the paper towel…turns out they were good.
Yeah I’ve gone ahead and dropped it in the soil this morning @Jdub07 if it hasn’t broke the surface by the time my other seed is ready it’ll have to make way for that 1… disappointing tho as I’d never grown a royal dwarf before and only had the one seed which would have been ready for Crimbo 
if she does happen to pop I’ll be doing the other in a solo cup
