Cheers @Austingreenest ! I don’t know everything mate but normally at your stage your light should be further away but your s still look like they’re tall lanky, @Stoney1BudTokie can you jump on this point for our fellow Grower, you’ve got most answers pal and I think the light should be At least 18 to 24 inches away and dimmed down to 25%
And that point in my plants been tall is I wanted to see one is lst but the tall one I just let go to see! I won’t be doing that with the rest- Iv 7 more Girlscoutcookie autos that I am thinking on going to photopariod next- just got to think about it and to be honest, I love been in with them working on them but At the moment Iv to take it easy!
Down to my been over fatigued!
After an operation I had in march on a syst on the and my energy levels are just so low. Well mate just wanted to reply and try advise best I can buy I’m sure our fellow Grower will get on here to put his 2 pence worth in- he has some funds under his belt! Catch up later - oh after you have formed the 2 first real leafs you can take off the dom pal and get some air flowing to strength the
Thank you much! I think I need to lower the temp in the room & dome, maybe change out the light with a CFL or smaller yet quality on. I have those little wands that clip onto countertop edges/poles but they’re a little old (just bc they have the red/blue/white selections. Maybe a few of those could keep them from stretching…. I also think I need more perlite or aerating aggregate (foam, etc.)
I think your doing grand, don’t try to do to much to quickly! The perlite and aeragation can help but give got some good guys here now to help and advise you, if you do what your planning with your other lights in sure they will be fine, but I wouldn’t turn up a notch every day- maybe up a little wait couple days to see how she takes to it, then when your happy and seeing your work paying off, at the age right now is important and can be stressful but not you got another great guy on the ball to @StickyBudHound , these guys are the pros! And you will be fine so to well your girls.
I’m going to check my Orangebud auto trics today-
And one of my Girlscoutcookie autos to not the tall one. The one I did Lst on. I’ll post some pics after pal-
So happy growing:seedling:
18-24 inches and at 50 percent intensity. Once shes in veg lower to 18 inches and increase to 75 percent intensity. Once in flower full bloom intensity and 12 inches. Keep thay dome on till she outgrows it, shouldnt be watering mich either, ypu want those roots reaching down for that moisture, so bittom feeding is your friend during this stage.
Looks milky as hell, I would wait until some turn amber then begin your flush! Once you have a good mixture of both milky & amber, harvest time it is!!
Great advice. Great attitude! Great love and nothing keeps these big girls down…! I will put the dome back on tomorrow but some said it may be taking from the light. I’m keeping it humid in there though and around 75 deg. I’m sure I’ll keep them alive and well, even if they go into triage I’ll scrub out and go into surgery. Unles call me “the dr.” Lol. They’re old school as hell.
You know if this humidifier/mister is ok or not ok? Doesn’t really put out too much humidity so… and I downloaded this app and the PAR was around 190-290.
I think so. Lots of different things on the internet but most range from 100 to 400 for seedlings. I think being in the 200 to 300 range should be good. High end probably for professional set ups with c02 and such.
Ya @Austingreenest there doing well, and looks steady in there and you’re humidifier is grand pal now just little patience and you’ll see lots of changes in days:facepunch:we will be looking at your big juice buds soon enough:wink:
I have. It’s a nice treat here and there. It stores real nice too. Got some other than tasty weed? Top it. Lol, turns crap weed into something worthwhile real quick.
You did well on the yield. How much bud did you use?
What do you know about the light quality? Is there info about the Kelvin rating? Red light is best for flower and will cause stretch if the light doesn’thave enough blue light in it. Veg lighting, including for seedlings should be in a blue range and higher Kevin rating.
When I’m mention reds and blues, it isn’t just the color of an LED. It’s actual light emission that’s being referred to.
In Kelvin ratings, a light good for veg would be around 5000k. A light good for flower is normally about 2800k. A nice in between light that provides a bit if both would be at about 3500k.
Then there is intensity. Not enough intensity and the plant has to stretch to get close enough to benefit from the light. Possibly that light isn’t intense enough? Either turn it up or get it closer to the plants.
You can replant the seedlings and bury some of this excess stem without breaking it, but it’s just a bandaid unless the light problem is fixed. The buried stem will just grow more roots.
So here is the outcomec of my 2 White Widow (Photoperiods). I am a little bummed because I only got a 1/2 pound out of both of them. I was hoping for 8-12 oz per plant, but after drying for 5 days they were ready to come off the branches. I would have waited 10-12 days but growing in my neck of the woods it gets hot in my grow rooms. I have 2 more Afghani Kush (Photoperiods) drying right now I hope the weather changes a bit so I can have a longer drying period.
