@SJ1 nice looking girls.

Thanks mate. You got a nice outdoor girl yourself. You in the UK? I had to trash my outdoor plants last year, the heat here in Spain absolutely destroyed them. No chance of that in the UK :smile:

@DrunkenLegend same thing happened to me on my first grow, planted a sativa alongside indicas, won’t be making that mistake again… I’m obsessed with flat canopies now haha

Everyone’s girls are looking great! I got my girls curing now I had a question though very interesting I have a girl 23 days from seed not an auto but a photo 18/6 light scheduled but I see this

Pre flowers at 23 days from seed is that normal??
thoughts?

I believe this to be normal. See related information:

Until then, a plant in the vegetative stage will grow stems and leaves, it may show pre-flowers to indicate sex but the buds won’t get fat. Source: https://growithjane.com/cannabis-plant-vegetative-stage/

as far as the early signs of flowering, it’s completely normal for plants to show a few white hairs / pistils during the vegetative stage once the plant is 6-8 weeks old.

Female pistil (preflowers) can appear when the plant is still in the vegetative stage. This is most common when plants are mature, or when starting with clones from a mature plant.These “preflowers” often appear at the “joints” of the plant (pictured to the right). This is a sign that the plant is mature and ready to start flowering. However, she shouldn’t grow more than just a few of these preflowers as long as she’s getting 14+ hours of light a day.

Female preflowers can appear when the plant is still in the vegetative stage. This is most common when plants are mature (older than 6-8 weeks from seed), or when growing clones from a mature plant.

If your plant starts forming full buds (many hairs clustered together in bunches), then that means she’s in the flowering stage. In that case, it’s possible you have an autoflowering plant. Yeah she only 23days from seed that’s why I was like whoa! Ig she will be a girl I take some clones from strong pheno

You all heard about the heat in Spain ruining my herb so this time I am testing fridge drying. Got a spare wine fridge so I chopped and loaded into the wine fridge for a low and slow dry. Aiming for 60%RH, and 55F for 2-3 weeks.

7 days like this to remove most of the water weight then into paper bags to regulate the RH for the next 7 days, then will start jar testing.

Heard really good things about this method - I should see the vast majority of terpenes preserved, and taste and smoothness top notch.
