So one picture is the top 3/4 parts of the plant forming nicely in my opinion but then theres the other pic which is lower region of my plant should i continue to let them form as well kinda lost now plz help

I trim the bottom 3rd completely naked. I use the middle 3rd for edibles or rso. Then the top 3rd is smoke or press.
The nugs that are that low never get enough light to fully mature.
I’m definitely working on my lollipop more intensely next grow. Did a little this one but not enough. But, my first time indoor and first time using a trellis net too so learned a lot

Under canopy lighting. Leave more on the plant and increase yields. I ran 2 rows of UC lighting and deliberately left way more than i normally do. I was absolutely blown away. My lowers are all larger than golf ball size and as dense as the tops. I’m investing in another set so I can do my entire tent. With 2 rows of 3 plants I had light bars in the middle of the rows and the rear so the front of one row didnt have UC lighting and it’s night and day difference. I really feel I shorted myself by trimming off as much of the plant as I did.

Its something i haven’t played around with yet either, my lowers just end up getting run for bubble hash usually or made into oil but if the quality of those could improve its got to be worth a shot

This was the way it was originally. I lost the 2 plants on the top two pots in the shot so I moved that right bar to behind the back row after I cut those 2 down 3 weeks into flower. None of my lowers except for the front of the row on the right because they didn’t get the light like the middle and the back of the left row. The side of the plants that didn’t get us lights have larf but the other side of the same plant with the light, the nugs are all large, dense and covered in trichomes. Mine are only 50w each bar. I only bought one set to run a test to see if they were really worth it. I just ordered 2 more sets this morning.
Just went and took a look at the lowers, the trichomes around the UC lights are also just as ripe as the top trichomes are. Another win for UC lights.
Any suggestions on uc lights to order? I’m in a 2x4 so don’t have the abundance of space either
Whatever lights that are full spectrum fit your budget. Doesn’t need to be 400w, like I said mine are 50w per strip and the performance was legit and it didn’t burn any lowers that happened to be laying across the lights. I didn’t even notice them on my electric bill and I ran them right along with my big lights off the same 240v timer. When I put my trellis on at the flip after a 35 day veg was when I started using mine.
