Yea dude that liquid kool bloom works just as well. Tastes great as long as you flush long enough before chop.

How long do you flush? I’ve gone back and forth in flushing and my last grow I flushed for the last week or so. Essentially the last two waterings with twice as much water as usual

Maybe not twice as much water actually, maybe 50% more than usual

Buds don’t store nutrients or salts so flushing is bro science

Yeah, I’ve gone back and forth on it. I think I’ll flush one and not the other this grow and see if I can tell the difference. I’d prefer to push them all the way till the end with nutes but am always open to testing everything!

I think so too. So far 8 harvests, two with flush, the others without. Everything turned into good dope. I now assume that it is from Broscince

I used the kool bloom on my last grow along with advanced nutrients but will look into the brix and everything else mentioned!

So far this grow my improvements will be adding the wetting agent, hitting with silicate throughout the grow (I didn’t buy until flower already stated), and maybe adding brix or some other finisher. I also want to push my lighting and nutes earlier, felt like I eased into it too much and they could’ve handled more throughout the grow. I also need to order the uc lights mentioned a few weeks ago or lollipop a lot more aggressively. Hoping to take that next step on my second indoor grow!

I forgot who was talking about the UC lighting but would one of these work between the 2 plants? They’re only 20w tho, do I need to find the 50w?

I like these when I used UC lighting

Thank you for all the info as always. Don’t know what I’d do without you guys!

Those are badass! I’m assuming you just plug them right into the ac Infinity controller and schedule from there? Also, any input on how you mounted those? I wanted to put them right between the 2 plants in my tent for uc lighting

There is always a lot of back and forth. I’ve done many with and without flush and I taste the flavor difference when I flush at least 10 days prior to chop. Some strains hold onto nutrients longer than others. I don’t use more water than any normal feeding with 10-20% runoff, just plain ph’d water.

It allows what is called senescence to occur where the plant essentially eats and redistributes nutrients left within itself. I notice a certain amount of added sugar accumulation that occurs during senescence as opposed to when not flushing. buds that are flushed burn the best in my opinion. All the way to white ash. Here is a good article on actual science for anyone interested.

I laid them on the edges of my pots facing up

This is why I love organics the plants enter fade on their own no matter how much nutrition is in the soil. I also had that happen on its own when I ran advanced nutrients without a flush. Also white ash doesn’t mean anything look at cigs.
