When I switched from soil I went to coco perlite mix at 70/30 and never looked back until jumping to autopots. Besides the nutrients all I add is root roids and flower roids, they are beneficial microbes and stuff.
You mix those into the coco like an amendment? Going to coco for the first time next grow so curious. I bought the tupur coco
or would I put that into the reservoir in my octopot?
I mix mine and add it directly to the tray and let them butt chug it just because it clogs lines badly but for you I would say add directly to the res because that is basically the same as my tray at the bottom.
I do it on days where the trays are almost empty too though so the plants drink the roids straight away rather than it sitting around because it can start to smell after a while. You could add it to your res in between filling with your normal nutes.
Interesting, I’m definitely gonna look into that! I’m always looking to take that next step lol
Wanna hear the biggest dummy move I just realized I’ve been doing? New to AN and didn’t realize there’s a sensi grow and sensi bloom. Been running the bloom throughout the whole grow for the past two runs. What an idiot, been leaving a bunch of growth of the table. Problem solved moving forward at least lol. In my defense, their chart isn’t the best and the guy I bought the setup from only had the bloom so I figured it was an all in one
Hahaha oops, you have been doing great without it though so hopefully adding it in for next run should make it even better.
I want to try this one in the next grow or so for sure, I take it every water has nutes? Or just those root roids
In coco every watering has nutes but the roids I only give once a week. Root roids one week and then fruit roids the next during flower
Ok so I did a bit of research an the plant throughing out that munted growth is usually caused By calcium an salt build from all the pics Ives seen, which makes sense after the top an bottom feeding, an does look like the top only watering is slowly fixing that with some new growth looking better.
I’m trying my first true flush this run. Running RO water with a tad calmag for about a week or so depending on trichomes. Excited to see the fade and test the flush bro science ![]()
Forsure got her on a milk crate
2 more days then we trim them grow out for a week or 2 an then flip, they are gaining height quickly
Yeah they aren’t messing around now. Even one week after a haircut will probably be enough. You still have to consider the foot print of your light.
Yeah I was thinking only a week after haircut just to not shock them when I do flip, cause everywhere it says to wait a week or 2 after you trim to flip.
I trim the day I flip so I wouldn’t worry
Might trim today instead of tomorrow.
