What do yall think? I had to move my tent to the garage in flower and this is about as good as I can get it. The crazy humidity spike is when the garage was opened cuz it’s raining here

Was gonna buy some new gear recently but came across a few thing I wanna try so I’m holding off till I can get my hands ons some things was gonna try a few things from spider farmer including there new 2 in 1 inline fan an filter, an downsize a little
Could be a good space saver from what I’ve seen.

should be okay as long as got some good air circulation happening. my room runs in the mid 60s to 70s all summer and just had to make sure the air was circulating and then every few hours open the door for fresh air exchange unless I have the window open

spider farmer is a pretty decent brand for a decent price. although I haven’t tried that inline fan but I would think it works fairly well based off there other equipment and what other growers have said about spider farmer that use there stuff

Bigger is better when it comes to inline fans. Bigger ones can run at lower speeds which is good for longevity, power consumption and noise. My buddy has the separate inline fan / filter. Even on lower speed it’s louder than the ac infinity I have. Plus I just dump the carbon 1x a year and refill it. With the 2 in 1 combo you’ll have to replace it yearly and it’ll be more expensive in the long run. But if smell isn’t a concern for you it can definitely go longer or until the fan dies. In which case it won’t be more expensive over time. They are a decent brand though and unlike mars hydro, spider farmer has amazing customer service.

I got smart and use an old carbon filter during veg and stretch and then use my ac infinity carbon filter during peak flower. That way I’m only using up the good filter when it’s actually needed. Don’t know if it actually prolongs the life of the carbon in there yet, but we’ll see lol

hAlf way through week 4 of flower and the cheese is finally starting to stink! Apparently this is a late bulker, so next couple weeks should be fun!

I don’t like the idea of replacing the whole thing when the carbon filter goes bad in it. Running the fan and filter outside the tent and have them sucking out the air is the biggest space saver when it comes to fans if you need the extra room. Im using an ac infinity 6 inch fan and it never needs to go above 50% in the 5×5. Carbon filters are also a get what you pay for type of thing, ive used cheap ones and I have to replace them after 2 runs but these days I have the refillable one from ac infinity and it is on run 4 with its original carbon and will make it through until the end of this one before I refill it. A replacement bag is roughly the same cost as a cheap filter

You can replace the carbon filter inside though when it goes bad.

After I had a look at it it works out okay from that point. The part that stood out to me was the 60 decibels at full speed, that isn’t exactly quite if you have anyone nearby.

I’m on year 2 almost 3 with the same carbon and it is barely letting smell through. I’ll refill after this run. $40 refill bags aren’t a bad deal.

My humid environment means I get less time out of the carbon but your lifespan on it is great if its lasting that long for the price.

I still can’t smell anything but a couple of people who have visited recently have said they could straight away when close to the garage

I just said fuck it. the neighborhood can smell it cause it smells good lol not to mention pretty sure damn near all the neighbors smoke at least the constant blunt smell gives me that impression lol
