All the seeds I’ve tried germinating have failed, tried a few different ways all the same result, some how keep getting free seeds of mates to try anyway, some seed I got given of a mate that’s a bit of an amateur breeder gave me 2 strains 1 is the biggest seed I think I’ve ever seen a the other 3 are pretty average hope I have better luck with these ones hahaha.

been there bud and it can be a bummer but youve already proved to youraelf you can grow so dont stress it as we all run into germ issues at times. my record is 8 in a row one year lol and it very well could be seeds lost viability while being stored or potentially just a bad pack but it does suck when it happens

need to get that geographic camera but end of week 3 flowering and the house has that preflower smell running through out house

think i finally got a grip on using dry calmag and the length it takes to break down roughly so hopefully next grow not so much issues with it and will def feed the plants 1 week before switching to flower instead of the same day

Maybe the seeds were stored incorrectly or were just old. Last year, I also tried some older seeds and not one of them came up.

Currently the highest my controller is turning it to is 5-6 of 10. Even at 10 with me next to it I could barely hear it running. As a test last night before making a reply I did an experiment I dropped the setting to 45% humidity. Again my controller never hit max power and held humidity in check over night. For me expansion isn’t a thought to where I need to lower humidity in multiple tents. I only plan on adding a mother tent and a veg temp. I don’t ever want a full grow room without tents so for me the 7 is way more than I’ll ever need. Also the way it operates is a closed circuit pulling moist air from the tent and adding dry air to the tent. When I had it just sitting in the tent it was far less effective so they aren’t meant to do a whole room unless you set it up outside the room with the ducting going in and out of the tent. It makes no sense to me why it’s not effective just sitting in open air. If the 7 is what you want then go for it I did a bigger inline fan for the reasons you brought up about less wear and tear and quieter operation at lower levels. So I completely understand going bigger. I guess it just depends on individual preferences and setups.

Thanks for the description, that helps me a lot. I also planned to do it outside the tent with intake and exhaust hoses, which is probably the best way to keep the RH in the optimal range. Maybe I’ll wait until April instead of already February and take the 5th.
As you say, it’s enough even for 150x150. Then it’s definitely enough for 120x120.

Does anyone know when the last time @Cliff_36 has been on? I know he had some family stuff going on the last time I spoke with him. I still have his prize pack from the solo cup grow off. If he’s coming back I don’t want to do anything with his prize but if he’s not I’d like to run another grow off and let someone enjoy the prize.

Humboldt just dropped 2 new strains, blueberry honey and candy hustle. I just picked up a 5pk of each. There is limited supply for the initial drop.

so far the chocolate unicorn poop is smelling the best. it has quite the mixed fruit smell like berries and melons just very pleasant on the nose for sure but the wilderness kush smell pretty good as well just not as ohhhhh on the nose like the unicorn poop and have been beyond easy to grow. almost a set it and forget type of deal. i think maybe 2 feedings so far 1 in veg and 1 in flower and no signs of stress or deficiencies and i have a sour moose that was struggling in the right garden bed at first that has bounced back pretty strong in flower that has a hard candy type of smell to it

Tempting isn’t it. Blueberry honey is right up my alley but I couldn’t not get the candy. I’m my own worst enemy too. Just hope the wife doesn’t find out.

I probably will since my garage will be too hot for the tent, I’d imagine at least. Might be a nice break for me. Throw like 2 plants out there in good soil and just water till flower lol
