Any thoughts on the little issue with my leaves? I did just up the nutrients from 1/4 to 3/4 strength last week

Try adding it to the ai in the app and see what it says. Obviously wait to see what a human thinks. I’m horrible at this game but my bet is the pH in your res is off.

Jane ai said ph or nute burn, ChatGPT said calmag deficiency. You guys are the jury

Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I think if that white color in the pots was there before the plants? It seems like AI is right

Yeah, that crust buildup has happened overtime. I’ll have to drain and refill with ph water hopefully this weekend

The leaves of my little ones look similar to yours. AI says too much or too little fertilizer, too much or too little water, humidity too high or too low, too warm or too cold. :exploding_head: I’m just as smart as before. All in all, they are growing strong and look quite good, I’ll just continue as before and wait to see how they develop. :face_with_monocle: So far I’ve managed to grow them all big.

Today was top dress day for the 3 back chembap plants. I mixed up 1/2 cup craft blend, 1/4 cup Montanagrow silica, 1 cup worm castings and 1/4 cup of pushin p as the dry ammendments and followed that with a soil drench of buildabloom, rootwise bio-phos, rootwise bio catalyst, rootwise mycrobe complete, Wdg3000 and a pumpkin ferment. I’ve got 3 plants planted the same day and all are in different stages of growth. All are 38 days old while the front ones (gus scout cookies) are 26 days old. The front ones will be top dressed once flowering starts to show.

ToMy two purple hazes week 7 of veg. Thinking about another week then flipping. Removed all my stakes I had training both. I’ve kept them super low and spread out as you can see. Both are only 7 - 10 in tall at most. Now I wanna let them really free during the upcoming stretch. Never really had to use all vertical space before so am anxious to see what they do.

Looks like a ph thing being in coco. Make sure the res is stable enough and not swinging up or down. I recently switched nutes completely because of constant upwards drift in mine and things are running heaps smoother. Stop holding them back with less than full strength nutes too lol.

I use the ph perfect by advanced nutrients so have never even checked my ph lol. The 3/4 strength thing is due to the roots having constant access to the nutes in the resevoir. My cheese had excess nitrogen towards the end of the grow and I think that’s why so trying to test it out. I’m normally 100% plus some additives tho lol

In coco ph is make or break. Regardless of what the manufacturer says i would be checking to see that its sitting somewhere around 5.8 and not drifting around too much. I saw swings from 5.8 when I filled the res to 7.5 24 hours later with the nutes I was using before so some things can change dramatically very quickly.

What nutes do you use now?

I’ve switched back to an old favourite. They are stupid simple and stable.

Seems like those aren’t available. I am planning on switching to a more simple lineup once I go through my current supply. I was looking at the general hydroponics 3 part nutrients or the biobizz pack

Isn’t biobizz a form of organics?

Yup, from what I’ve read at least! I think I’d love to try their lineup. I’m interested in the liquid organics.

The granddaddy of them all, I’ve used the GH trio, CALiMAGic and extras since the early ‘90s, can’t go wrong with it, but not organic.

It’s always good to check pH, I never understood how the AN pH Perfect line worked anyway. How does it know if I’m running hydro and need 5.8-6.0 or in soil and prefer 6.5? Plus a slight drift can help with overall nutrient uptake.

Apparently you’re not supposed to adjust the ph on it. I don’t think it adjusts the ph itself, just makes it so that the plant can uptake the nutrients regardless of ph, but I’m not too sure. Thankfully I have enough for another run or two before I make my decision on what to switch too. I’m really intrigued by organic but the GH trio is just so simple too lol
