Crackadoo nailed it! The tub is extra nice because it’s essentially a hybrid cure and dry so you can trim at your own leisure since it’s essentially already curing in the tub

So there I was with 4oz of decarbed weed and 1.75l of everclear. I strained the everclear off into a ball jar and set it in a pot of boiling water. All was well and the reduction of the alcohol mixture was smooth and fast. Then the alcohol level was about 2 inches below the water line and the ball jar was bouncing around. Seeing this I ran to get a smaller ball jar to transfer the mixture into. Then I WAS going to pour off most of the water before placing the smaller jar in the water. Life had other plans… As I reached to grab the big ball jar in the water it hopped violently and tipped over making the water errupt like oil does if you add water.
Presently I have a large pot of water mixed with everclear and thc. Chat gpt told me it’s a lost cause and not safe to extract as the ethanol has a flash point of 55f. I didn’t listen as I must know better. Duh just boil the water and alcohol off and be left with rso. Makes sense right? Wrong! I left it boiling and now the “rso remnants” burnt to the sides of the pan and the everclear caught fire and burnt the mixture into the sides of the pot.
Moral of the story… Don’t let it reduce that much before transferring to a smaller jar otherwise you’ll have an exciting 2 hours of your life that you wish never happened. $40 for the everclear, 4oz of fire bud and 24 hours invested… All for nothing.

The high I experienced yesterday was stronger than any 1k mg edible I’ve ever done. The only time I’ve been higher was another incident with rso before I knew how to dose it. That incident had me in the fetal position. Luckily this time wasn’t that but WOW was it strong. I’m hungover today from weed. That’s crazy to me.
