Thank you but I’m doing this for a challenge. The idea is to use what anybody would be able to get their hands on without ordering from a company. Basically I am working with breeders to provide the easiest and most affordable way to grow for veterans. This is my first indoor grow but I have been growing outdoors for over 10 years with zero store bought items. The reason for this challenge is because of the way I grow outdoors and to see how this strain holds up to my style of ā€œplant it and forget itā€. I know what to look for as for too many or not enough nutrients, I just wanted to see what others would recommend for an indoor grow. 3 weeks in with nothing but banana, Epsom salt, pond water, molasses and rabbit manure and the ladies are thriving.

@weed_witch Oh I see, that’s a cool challenge :love_you_gesture:t2::muscle:t3::+1:t3:

For pH UP I use ā€œBaking Sodaā€ & pH DOWN I use ā€œCitric Acidā€ because this is the best organic pH balancing stuff you can find around your house and it’s organic. Also if you use pH up or down by general hydroponics it’s made with chemicals and it will kill all of you microlife in your soil and that’s obviously not something you want to happen because it’ll be a while before you build the microlife back up in your soil. As far as nutrients go I am clueless of what to use as household items. Good luck with your challenge!

Do you feed your cow and horse any kelp? Barley? Those two are great for top dressing. Also if you have a cow/horse manure pile, check around for worms and snag them up. I know you are only doing this in 3G pots but the more microbes you can introduce into your system, the more efficient. And the more worms, the more poop!

Hi is sheep droppings, good, and the horse and cow manure, the older the better? @canagen @weed_witch

Sheep is almost like cow I believe, about the same N content. Either way, they will have to be composted prior to use or have it run through worms. Rabbit is the only manure that can be used fresh.

Here are the NPK of most manure. These can obviously change based on what the animals are fed and how composted it is.
Cow 0.6%N 0.4%P 0.5%K
Horse 0.7%N 0.3%P 0.6%K
Pig 0.8%N 0.7%P 0.5%K
Chicken 1.1$N 0.8%P 0.5%K
Sheep 0.7%N 0.3%P 0.9%K
Rabbit 2.4%N 1.4%P 0.6%K

Rabbit is the only manure that can be used fresh. It is considered a cold manure. All the rest are hot and must be composted well or your plants will burn.
Hope this helps.

@Deanroche Hey bud, sure thing Here’s my schedule and I don’t recommend mixing other companies nutrients because each company designs their nutrients to provide specific amount of nutrients and microbes and amino acids etc and when you mix it with other companies that’s when you start having issues with your plants because you end up giving more of something and creating a feeding issue of overfeeding. Especially when using biobizz they use everything 100% certified organic stuff so the only thing I add to mine is supplements like mammoth p, great white, fish shit, and Full Power & Ful-Humix by BioAG. Also make sure you defoliate your plants completely every leaf that you can easily get to because this is how you maximize on your yield! Don’t be scared to take your leaves off because four or five days later it grows new a little smaller leaves and you will never be able to tell that it was ever defoliated! If you want to learn more about defoliation, go to www.blackdogled.com under education tab you can click on videos and then grow along videos and then find defoliation videos and you will see how these guys do it and how they get almost 3 lb from four plants in a 2x2 tent and 3x3 tent and 4x4 tent. They do some crazy numbers!
Here’s my schedule :point_down:t3:

Cheers @weed_witch ,I have most of your menu at the farm where I got work, and appreciate the list, great the information you pick up, like Iv switched to organic grow and just getting the feel of it and think much easierand healthier plants to with less issues, but cheers againšŸ‘

Nice one for the help @DeAzNuTz , Iv got 3 northern lights autos under 400w hps in my wardrobe, end of 5th week, then in my 5x5 tent 2 clones one of badly need of defoliating, and the is so much that I will take a before and after to show you what I will take off this 1 Gorilla Girl FV clone, this is the 4th clone from her mother, nice smoke but photopariod, and Iv food the autos and I like them for quick couple runs a year, I really do appreciate all your good advice mate, and I am a beginner, just about 5 runs more and have had issues but here I always rectified them with the help from all you guys, but again cheers and Iv got some nice beans waiting for space lol,

I don’t grow autos because they produce very little buds compared to feminized photoperiod plants where I get over 2 lb of dense buds from only 4 plants and I get to do it usually three times a year and sometimes two times simply because I have so much smoke that third time is unnecessary because I will be left with too much but that I won’t be able to smoke so I have to cut down to two times per year sometimes :sunglasses:

The feeding schedule I shared with you is not for autos so if you are going to be using Biobizz for autos, then I highly recommend Google search ā€œBiobizz feeding schedule for Autoflower Cannabisā€ and you will be able to find multiple forums where guys show their feeding schedule that works for them so you can duplicate and then adjust to your own strains since everyone has a different setup and feeding schedules will vary based on your setup, the type of water you are using, temperatures and RH levels, what kind of pots you are using because smart pods are the best simply because they dry out quicker and you don’t get root bound roots, etc…

Happy growing and if you need any help with anything else feel free to reach out! Happy Thanksgiving :turkey:

Natural is the only way I will got. I’ve just started with autos but my photos love the manure. The plants take what they need. My growing style is a little unconventional and laughed at by most people but they have to admit it works. Because I can’t actually use the plants I grow (I grow for my husband because THC and I are not friends) my style is plant it and forget it. Live or die cause I don’t care. In 10 years I have yet to lose a plant or not have a seed pop. Outside they get rain and water when i think about it. Half the time its weeks between me checking. This year my Dutch passion AK-47 hit 12 feet and 7 feet. My orange sherbet, twilight and gorilla breath stayed a nice 5 feet tall and 5 feet across. They call it weed for a reason. It will grow just about anywhere. Too many people over think the chemicals and baby the plants and it does more harm than good. Or that’s what I’ve found anyway.

Cheers for sharing that with me, and totally agree, less is more, so to speak, it’s why Iv turned to organic grow, but wow you "trees"plants do some well, like your style nice 1 @weed_witch

If you build your soil properly, you don’t need to buy all the other gimmicks from the store. And I really
don’t see the point in removing the gas tank from the engine. You spend all that time growing the plant and then remove the fuel cells when they need it. Mother nature knows better than we do, I promise!

Thanks bro, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well and stay safe and high

That’s cool that you’re growing both autos and feminized seeds. I can’t do that because I’m limited on space and since I only have one tent I always want to make sure my plants are growing together relatively at the same time so they are growing about the same height so my LED light hits every single branch I utilize all of the light. If I had more space I would definitely keep 1 tent for flower and the other one for veg and keep them circulating. I do keep my mother plans in my closet and I keep experimenting with tissue culture cloning. Hehe are some pics :point_down:t3: and if you want to try tissue culture yourself I highly recommend giving it a try because when you clean up your plant and remove the bottom branches instead of throwing them away you can start growing them in tiny glass test tubes and by the time they get bigger and then you switch them to rooting tubs by the time they grow roots you already getting close to harvest and those rooted guys become your new veg plants and you don’t have to take tops off your good plants and save them to get more buds when harvest time comes
Here’s his website: www.microclone.com his name is Bill Graham and when you place an order he actually shares his personal phone number to help you with your grow or if you need any help for a guidance with tissue culture. He sells clone kits, seed kits, liquid mediums, different types of tools and setups and grow lights and his own grow racks, etc…

I just posted my very fresh and high quality feminized seeds on Etsy if you’d like to get a few for yourself, here’s the link: Very Fresh Collectible Souvenir Flower Seeds | Etsy
