What’s up timo! I’m hoping I can build up my stash enough to test a two year cure

For some people, 500g would be gone in 5 months. I did the math. If I assume I consume a maximum of 0.25g a day, it would probably last me over 5 years. But I’ve already done another grow. This time, though, in 3 small 11L pots. That was another 150g. I don’t even know what to do with it. If I want to keep growing, I’ll unfortunately have to throw some away. Actually, in Germany, 50g of dried flowers per person in the household is allowed.:seedling::dash:

You could start making oil for edibles, hash, rosin, tinctures, the options are almost endless. Having too much flower is easy to fix lol.

Yes, that’s absolutely right. I’ve already made chocolate from trim, and I’ve also been thinking about making tea and oil. ChatGPT already gave me a detailed recipe and explanation — thanks for reminding me! @Crackadoo :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No one knows how much you stash and I think no one cares. I’m not goanna tell you to do something illegal but I would sell it to some close friends for a low price, just so I could pay the electricity bill and to buy some new fertilizer. But that’s not what you should do! It’s just what I would do…:wink:

I guess most of us have thought about it at some point. :sunglasses:
But for me, it’s really not that simple. Here’s why:

1. Nobody wants my low-THC, high-CBD hybrids.
Most people around me are only chasing the 30% THC stuff. They’re looking for the strongest high, not a balanced or therapeutic experience. It’s kind of frustrating, because I personally prefer strains that support focus, creativity and mental clarity – not just being knocked out on the couch.

2. I’m 38 – and so are most people I know.
In Germany, many people from my generation (and older) still carry a lot of fear and stigma around cannabis. It’s deeply rooted in our history and misinformation. I’ve tried many times to explain the medical benefits to my family and friends, to share knowledge and break the taboo. But honestly… most are still too afraid to even try it.

3. Selling to strangers is a no-go for me.
I would never sell to people I don’t know personally and fully trust. There are too many risks, and I simply don’t want to be part of something that could get out of control. For me, it’s not about money – it’s about education, personal growth, and safe, responsible use.

4. Energy costs? Not really a problem.
I grow indoors, but thanks to my 18 kWp solar system and a 30 kWh battery, I can grow pretty much for free. That makes the whole thing not only sustainable, but also much more affordable in the long run.
Of course, I still have to pay for soil, water, and nutrients – but without the electricity costs, it’s really manageable. Especially since I’m mostly experimenting anyway.

Just to be clear: I’m only speaking from my personal experience in Germany – not about any other countries or experiences!

I think those are all reasonable and logical answers and even tho im not from Germany i can relate to some of your reasons and completely understand the rest. Have you thought about doing infused meals for yourself and others who use cannabis around you? I know edibles and snacks is a thing but ive noticed you mentioned most your stuff is more cbd leaning and probably has good medical values and would be ashame to toss or not use so was thinking maybe making infused dinners or breakfast for yourself or possibly make pain relief creams with it or tinctures ? Those normally have a long shelf life
