Just my 2¢ but I’d give it a year or so and see how the knockoff performs . . . or just build my own and save some $$$.
It’s been on my mile long list of DIY projects for a while now. Things are basically just a wine cooler with a cheap Peltier dehumidifier connected to a smart controller . . . simple build for half the $600+ ticket.

Mj, that wine fridge would work. I am not the greatest with electronics but I have seen others make their own cannatrol out of those.

There was a guy on here a while back that made a similar set up with an old mini fridge but i can’t remember for the life of me who it was.

I just took the plunge. PayPal, pay in 4 with no interest.
They only have just over 50 spots left. My gut told me to pull the trigger and I am glad I did. If I waited until next Friday, the deal would have been gone. I was unaware of the number of preorders allowed.

Im sure there will be a black Friday deal or something if you didn’t want to buy one on the pre-order. Im probably 2 years away from getting something like that. They seem pretty cool.

I don’t know, it’s a bunch of technology and bigger than it’s $1400? Competition. It was a fundraiser to get the ball rolling. They were looking for 100,000 and last I looked it was well over 600k. I think that’s why they put on the limit. This is probably just over break even for them. I studied finance in college. This is how it usually works. I don’t think they anticipated such a draw.
