Need advice

I need some advice on my setup, I just started growing in a tent never grew in one before trying to find out what would be best for my situation, i grow in a 2 in 1 5x4 grow tent from viperspectra the 4x4 room is my bud room and the little side area is where I have been vegging, now I’ll start to explain my ventilation system, i intake air through a 6” inline duct fan to a 6” cool tube with a 1000w hps I use to vent this out the tent but for humid issues and temps I’ve been letting the air from the light go into the 4x4 room the get exhausted out the window by my 6” inline duct fan (ac infinity) my question is if I should buy a 4” inline ac infinity fan with probe for the little 1x4 veg area to help pull air outside with the other 6” ac infinity to even out the pressure or should I buy a duct booster? Now my 4x4 (bud room) has a probe with controller so I can see temps and humidity do you think it would read an accurate temp and humidity for the veg side which is on the other side of the divider and I have the divider taped up no light leak no air seeps would a 4” inline fan with probe an controller help me get a more accurate reading in the veg side for humid and temp but also help me vent more air out which one is better for my setup?

The best advice I could give would be to move your probe to the veg side, run everything and see if there’s a difference. Don’t waste money on new fans until you’ve done some basic tests because you may not need them. IMO, If both sides are completely sealed from eachother you will likely have different readings.

Since your HPS is being used to control the flower room temperature and humidity and then your exhaust fan pulls from the flower room out the window I would be very surprised if your veg room had the same readings.

IDK if this would actually work BUT… if your sealed wall happens to have a hole for ducting you could try placing some duct tubing through it and moving your exhaust fan to the veg side. This way the humid air & temperature from the flower room gets pulled into your veg room and then out the window.

You just need to ensure you place the ducting in a way where light won’t shine through. Put it on the floor, or up high, a small bend, whatever prevents light from getting through.

If you can’t move your probe just buy a cheap temp/humidity monitor from home depot, throw it in the veg side and see if there’s a difference.

Yes you are right best I save the money and try out basic tests before spending money, and thank you for the advice I’m going to test that out and see if that will help.
