Should I turn over to flower stage?
Growing 3 Blue Dreams (fem) in the back, 1 Tahoe (fem) on the front left, a Jack Herer (auto) middle, then an ACDC (fem) right.
I accidentally got auto seeds for the JH and didn’t realize until now haha, they JUST started to auto flower yesterday.
Have been giving all them around 3tsp of fox farms nutes every 4-5days. (Growbig, BigBloom)
And I’ll start with the Tigerbloom once I switch to flower.
Do they look ready to switch to 12/12?
They’ve been vegging for about 8weeks.
Hello friend, how are you? Well, I advise you to set it to 12/12 now because you have to calculate that Autoflowering plants do not have the same photoperiod as photoperiods, because autoflowering plants are grown from the time they germinate until you harvest them at 20/4h. Knowing this, you have to pay attention to the photoperiods, because when you change them to the 12/12h cycle, they generally reach accelerated growth until they double their size and then structure the branches and stems and then stop and start to form flowers and hairs. if you have the
Autoflowering already entering flowering, don’t wait any longer and change the cycle to 12/12h.
Another problem is that having the autoflowering, they could induce the photoperiods to flower prematurely, this is because the plants produce ETHYLENE. It is a gaseous hormone that is transported through the intercellular spaces of the plants. It promotes the maturation of the fruits, some increase in size and the abscission (fall) of the leaves.
When maturing flowers come into contact with young plants, there is a risk of premature maturation of the young plants if the ethylene produced reaches them through the air. Ventilating from time to time (once a day) can evacuate the ethylene that has been generated. High ethylene concentrations lead directly to leaf yellowing.
Ethylene can also accumulate in the roots if they are kept too wet for a long time. Possible effects are foliar chlorosis, thickening of the trunk, epinasty (downward curvature) of the leaves, and increased susceptibility to disease. In stressful situations, for example, in the event of disease or damage, the plant produces more ethylene and consequently remains smaller and brings the end of the flowering phase forward. Also mechanical stress (eg from drafts caused by fans) can cause elevated ethylene production resulting in smaller plants with thicker trunks. If the fans are too close to the plants, they cause excessive stress that can hurt performance.
Happy growing and good smoke

Wow, okay…good to know good sir!
Note to self: don’t grow autos with photoperiods, haha!
I will set it to 12/12 today.
I also transplanted my seedlings too early into my hydroponics so I started out with poor root development to begin with so I feel like it stunted their growth but I’m learning as I go. Ha.
Will update in about 8 weeks probly asking, “hey should I harvest?” Ha
Thank you

Good note.
I don’t have the ability to single out the JH auto so I’m just switching to 12/12 and chalk it up as lesson
learned!
Btw, my lights have VEG and FLOWER buttons. Should I use the blue AND red together? Or just the red for switching into 12/12?
Is there any scenario or advantages by EVER using both simultaneously?
Was only wondering due to the mix scenario I’m in.
