Looking foward to proceeding with my first grow waiting for my seeds to come in ordered white lsd auto and they are sending me a few purple kush fem for free I’m pretty sure I have everything im needing growing indoors with a tent and dwc setup using a 1000w full spectrum but reviews say it’s closer to a 600w vivosun inline fan with filter using rockwool for germination and clay pebbles for the grow medium using a 3 part ph perfect nutrient… anyone have advice on mistakes I should be looking out for
Hello, before you plant the plants in the tent, test it what the temperature and humidity will be there to eliminate all the shortcomings. For hydroponics, it is necessary to wear devices for measuring Ph and PPM. It seems to me that growing in hydroponics for the first time will be difficult, for beginners it is better to grow in the ground.

I like the setup you have, I’d add a ph and humidity meter if you can. It’s easier to get better control of your environment with such equipment.
Don’t overwater at first, use 50-100ml of water for the first week and go up from that. The plant will tell you when she needs to be fed again, just keep a close eye.
Also, in the first week try to water around the plant so the roots can stretch in look for the humid places.
I recommend keeping the pot outside the tent in for 6-12 hours before you put it in the light, and check the light distance, it is really important in the early stages so you can avoid stunted growth.

Iv been running dry cycles to adjust the fan flow and checking the humidity levels with the humidifier with a built in hydrometer in it to auto shut off and on. I went a little over board and put 5 different thermostats at different points in the tent along with three hydrometers at different points the led full spectrum light I’m using has a dual fan system built into it so helps with the heat output some I purchased a vivosun ph and ppm meters to check the levels. With the nutrients it says to add 1ml per gal of water which is a 3 part system should I start with full strength it’s a ph perfect system that has everything needed already in it iv read a few places it’s better to under feed than to over do it running two 5gal dwc setups for white lsd auto and a purple haze fem the company sent me for free
