Plants life expectancy

Just curious if it’s normal for an autoflower to go passed its expected harvest time by like 30 days or more? I know the strain growing info is based off lab conditions so didnt expect plant to be done in 65 days but its going on 95 days and trichomes still clear/milky and have to search to try and find amber (the broad is good at hiding) so clearly doesn’t seem ready if I got to search but I have read sometimes the trichomes wont go amber do to multiple reasons so now I’m second guessing myself lol

I could be wrong but I think most autos are about 10-15 weeks start to finish. Someone else may have more info.

I am drying an AK47 Auto, right now and it went almost 15 weeks.

Right on it’s in week 14 so I’ll wait a week and just keep checking daily and I appreciate the response

Pistols and trichomes are all that really matter.

Hopefully, you have a jeweler’s loupe or a good magnification on your phone.

Yes I have I jewelers loupe as well as a 100x microscope and from what I’ve been studying the trichomes are the way to go when checking maturity which I’ve been checking daily since week 12 lol just was nervous that I may have messed up or messing up being my first grow so decided to reach out for advice and I appreciate it
