Powdery mildew

Hi I was wondering if your water pH right out of your kitchen tap is over 8 if you still have to add baking soda or apple cider vinegar ect: to spray plants for powdery mildew i see a couple spots on my plants and my friend has it way worse.

Thanks for your advice

Hi, I have water flowing from the tap PH 7.6. PPM 65. The water is the purest from Lake Baikal. But I do not spray plants in my tent lamp HPS possible burn. Measure PPM, EC of water maybe it has a lot of salt in it.

You shouldn’t have to check for PH if you are spraying (during lights off).

Here are some solutions people have used to combat PWM:

MIlk/water 9:1 ratio
Baking Soda 2 tablespoons per gallon
Hydrogen Peroxide 35% 1 teaspoon per gallon.

HTH.
