My plants dry out every 4 days but they are less than a foot tall. Thats why I decided not to go above 3 gallons initially… but again, im new. I know its not best to transplant in flower. I think they will be fine in 3 gallons if they only get to 2 feet tall but Idrk… they might not even last that long
Hopefully they show improvements next week and I can switch to flower.
So what size pot did you just put them in?
3 gal fabric pots with a little lava rock at the bottom
How are those plants looking today? Have they perked up a bit since the transplant?
Maybe a little. I see some slightly darker leaves from the undergrowth but the tops still dont look the way I want them. Might post a few pics tomorrow.
What do you think? Better? Worse? Or about the same.
Hard to say. In some ways it looks better and in some ways worse. I think it has to adjust to the transplant, but you are now providing what it needs to heal. Dont over water. Just treat it as you normally would and let it grow on its own. When it dries out completely water it again. I would not use anymore nutrients for a while and make sure use good purified water ph’d to 6.5.
Some of the lower leaves look like they are cal mag deficient… you still think I should just do ph adjusted water?
Yes, no more nutrients. That soil has everything they need. You just need to relax and let the roots move into the new soil. Give them 3 days after the next watering and see what happens.
They are looking better! Tops are greener and they have grown a couple inches. I think I will start flower this week!
Post some pics
Will do during the light cycle tomorrow!
