R.I.P. to my seedling 😰😰😭

I read the whole thread! Good job on your clones. That’s an awesome amount of information. I watched a video before I saw the link to your thread. They did the same exact thing except cut the tips, razor the end of the stem to expose the end for root stimulation, and put it in a cup of water for a little to grow some roots then add the root gel and plant inside of a coco pod in a propagation dome then plant into a bigger pot when ready.

I’m super excited and kind of impatient because I have ways to go before it will be big enough to cut three leaves of one stem. :weary:

It’s going to be a while! But I am grateful for new information. Thank you :pray:t3:

Update::

Soo… I took this seedling out of the dome because it was doing great and I thought it would be strong enough to expand more in a bigger space being that it is 6 weeks

The first two pictures was yesterday
The second set is this morning :unamused::pensive:

Maybe too much water? :weary:
I’m stressed… it’s so hard to keep this one from dying

I see nothing to stress about but that just be me. The new growth has nice saturated coloration. Now that the cotyledons have yellowed and died, it’s time to start thinking of feeding. I don’t know what you have planned for the eventual growth, if you are going by bottled nutrients or dry organic. At this point, you have your choice. If you do go bottled (or commercial), you’d need a general purpose 4-4-4 for the vegetative stage then use that bloom you have during flowering.

If you wish to go wet organic, you can make teas with kelp meal, earthworm castings and molasses. Take about 1/4 cup each of kelp and earthworm castings, mix into 1 gallon water and either let stand overnight (stirring every once in awhile) or use an aquarium air pump and bubble it up overnight. At time of feeding, mix in 1T of molasses and water. If you have no castings, use compost.

With dry organics, there is a lot in the market to choose from. Gaia Green is one brand that comes immediately to mind. Whatever you choose, just take it slow and underfeed. Easier to correct that way.

Cheers.

Ok thank you so much
I was stressing up to this point :weary:
I just don’t want it to die lol

I put some nutrients in it earlier
I’ll have to gather up the stuff you recommended. I don’t have any of that

I couldn’t believe all of those leaves shriveled up over night!

It looked so nice yesterday

like @canagen has pointed out ,the new growth looks verry healthy and you got a nice adventure ahead of you so try not to stress yourself to much cause as long as you pay atention to what u are feeding her and less is more and add as needed ,but nice little Brain Crasher ,Auto or photo,
good luck:seedling::+1:

Thank you! @Deanroche
I’m trying to I’m trying not to stress. It doesn’t help that my grow tent is right next to the window by my bed :laughing:

I check on them very frequently lol

This seed came from some bomb flower I had that they don’t breed anymore. I only had a couple of seeds and this of the one that barely survived

Even just kelp will be enough for the seedling. Made into a tea should feed it until you transplant into a bigger container in which I assume you will be using fresh soil. No need to get all I mentioned in one shot. Your soil mix sounds good so you can expect it to cycle at least one plant. In a 5G pot, you will likely need a top dress at flip. I can get away with no top dress in 7 gallons. This is water only regimen but you always have the option to include supplements like teas and such.
