In all my reading lately, I see root boosters that promote root health of the cannabis plant. The bigger the root, the better the bud.
Has anyone used a root booster? If so, at what point do you begin adding the boost? I’ve read to cut the booster in half when starting out, so as not to burn the plants.
My two girls are happy seedlings right now. I’m also interested in the benefits of the cannabis roots, as well as the buds.
No I follow the Canna grow scheme and I apply max concentration because my water is sweet ( I don’t found the right word, I mean there is a bit mineral ).
And I altern watering once water only and once with nutrients
Benefits of the cannabis roots? What’s that about? As far as root booster it depends on the brand you are using. For instance, I grow hydroponic plants so I use these nutrients on this schedule:
With this it it remains the same once it’s determined that the seedling is strong enough to start receiving nutes of 2.5 ml in week two until it flips to flowering where the strength is reduced to 1 ml and eventually stopped before end of flowering period.
Yooo. So I just got my GH nutes in, and it came with a little sample of that rapid start. I’m 3 weeks into flowering… Do you think it would be a good idea to put a bit of this in the feed until like 2 weeks before harvest? I haven’t used any root enhancers… Or I can just wait until next grow xD
ALso, do you feed exactly according to that schedule?
There are several websites that mention the benefits of cannabis roots. What catches my attention is the phrase “may kill cancer cells”. Having beat stage 3c ovarian cancer in 2020, I am open to anything that will help me live longer. Cannabis has certainly helped me with nausea and eating; two continuing side effects I must address every day. Hell, I even made some THC salve for my numb feet!
Don’t get me wrong here. I’m not running out to make cannabis root tea, but I will pursue the possibility of health benefits.
