Hey guys! Is this light green color in middle of the plant OK?!
Looks hungry. Specs on your grow?
How much water are you feeding her? It looks the whole soil is wet
I agree with @NicoZ that you’ve over watered. I’d agree with @canagen that she looks like she might be lacking a little nutrients. Wait till she dries out and water with 0-1-1 nutrient. (1 tsp per gallon) and only give her about 1/8 of a cup.
I use BioBizz light mix + tap water pH should be OK + Optic 1 cob 3500K (75cm height), lights are 18/6 and fan.
Temps are stable 22C and humidity are on 60%.
Should I start to fertilizing her? I think she is too young… or no?
Shot was taken directly after watering so she should not be over-watered. I use only 7 sprays at 10:00 7 sprays at 22:00 than the light goes off.
Plant is 25 days old (from seed to this).
Thanks all for suggestions.
First, how do you know ph is ok? Do you have a ph pen? Ph your water after adding nutrients to 6.5. Second, I said to use a 0-1-1 solution for feed (nutrients). Third, tap water has a lot of sodium unless your in the city, in which case you dont know what is in the water. Use purified water properly ph’d. If you have hard water use that unless the ppm is over 200 otherwise use purified water. It’s best to use purified water. You should also add an Endo-Mycorrhizae for root development. That should be your only focus the first 4 weeks.
Thanks Outdoorman for your response. I checked tap water pHs via pH papers… not presice but it shows 5.5-6 colours. Outrun water was over 6. Is it ok? Ive already oredered digital meter so I will update with precise numbers later.
Could you please explain me what do you mean 0-1-1 solution? I started fertilizing it today as you proposed with BioBizz Bio Grow as official nutrient solution shedule suggests.
Thanks also for sugestions abnout the main focus! Will definitely try it!
0-1-1 is the NPK rating. 0% nitrogen, 1% phosphorus, and 1% potassium. Too high a percentage this early will only stunt its growth. 1 tsp per gallon of 0-1-1 would be approximately 300-400 ppm. I currently use General Organics Bio Root for sprouts and seedlings to promote root development in preparation for the vegetation stage. You will need a good HM Digital ph pen, EC/ppm pen, Ph UP & ph Down to keep your water ph’d properly. Anything under 6.4 and you’re locking out nutrients. You need to keep it between 6.4 - 6.6. Endo-Mycorrhizae will also help with root development. I like Humboldt’s White Widow
I use BioBizz too, don’t go with the light mix, use the All mix doses, it works better or your plant could suffer skinny syndrome if that is a thing lol.
Also if you don’t have a fan point at the girls and just use em form in/out air, then I would leave the fans on 24/7
NicoZ thanks! I think you are right about that soil because I got another three plants with problems. One was or may be still is suffering with long stem so I buried her deeper. Sadly she stopped growing for over 2 weeks. And the third one has burned tips a little but she is dooing good. Do you think feeding will help? What is your experience wit that BioBizz light soil? How did you fixed it?
Thank you for explanation Outdoorman!
When you overwater in the early stages, one of the most common problems is rotten roots, maybe that is what happened to your plants, which leads to stunt growth and so.
I’ve always used all mix, we had some users that used the light mix, and their plants were all skinny, I’m telling you by their experience, not mine. I just know the “all mix” works properly.
When you water the whole pot, you get extra humidity, because your plant is too young, and the roots are to little to absorb it all.
