It’s a hard question to answer. To grow indoor or outdoor dependent on a lot thing, clima, where you live, what Space you have, how much money you are willing to spend. As what goes for nutrients, yes if you are growing indoor or outdoor in a pot with Limited nutrients. There’s a lot og diffrent firm, they sort of all do the same. If you are new, try a basic fertillizer kit (GHE is easy for newbies, only 3 basic subtances) then you’ll just follow their schedule. All fertillizer companys had a schedule you can find online like this one.
Post a pic of your plants, but it could be lights to far away.

Good Work! You’ll might need the light closer, it’s stretching a littlebit, and if it’s starts falling over you’ll need to tie it up a stick or something. Good luck to you and your little baby
I agree with @chis, lower the light down and see if it stops stretching so much and see if the majority of growth happens with the leaves. As for the extra stem once you transplant them ( I’d assume in the next 2-3 weeks) bury the stem in the soil 2-3 inches from the cotyelons leaves and the stem will form roots in a couple weeks below the soil @joekar420. What type of light are you using?
@209MIKE this is my light has 400 watt hps bulb
i had same issue, just move the lights closer, once nodes start coming in and they are to close together its time to move the light farther away
I’d start at 18 inches from the tallest plant and put the back of your hand ontop of the plants and if it doesn’t burn your hand after 10 seconds your good, after 4 hours check on them and if they are pointing up lower the light 3-4 inches and wait 4 hours again once you find the sweet spot the leaves should be flat or barley pointed upwards if the leaves are drooping down raise it 4 inches ect. @joekar420
