Should I cut (lollipop) again?

I will smoke my 2.5 years old critical kush now. So long time in a normal glass from supermarket already. Peace and enjoy.

I’m from the US. We have stupid laws too which is why I don’t mention my state lol.

I saw you said you grew in 15 gallon pots. How was it? I’m in 5 gallon pots right now. I just ordered a pack of 5, 25 gallon pots. Now that I’m doing organic grows I think it’s time to create bigger and better living soil batteries.

I fully get the not wanting to make a mistake and waste your efforts. I have a little greenhouse that I use for experiments. It makes the grows fun. It’s where I came up with the idea that shredded cardboard would work as a mulch. I’m sure someone else has been doing it but I wanted to try it out so for a year it was the only mulch I used in my greenhouse. Worked amazingly well. Now I shred the cardboard rolls from toilet paper and paper towels to make my mulch if I don’t have hay/straw on hand. Enjoy your grows and your experiments my friend!

I have another 2 questions. I start with 1st question.

I saw some thrips on my leaves. Not much, but I started immediatly fighting against them.

I bought some lacewings and let them out now. I think almost all was alive. And at night they will go hunting.

Does anyone has experience with it? Does it help? And what is this brown stuff what also came out of the box? First food for them?

This 2 animals in red circles are the hunters. There was much more, but in day they hide. I was just quick with my pictures.

@BluntForceTrauma420 @ItsOzzie @Wargoat

But I ask all people who read this.

Those look like aphid eggs if you are referring to the seed looking parts on the leaves. This may be shipped with the lacewing larvae as food.

I thought something in this way. I hope they will have a good meal next nights and kill all of this bad thrips. :grinning:

I’ve used ladybug larvae in the past with great results. I have heard lacewing larvae are even more voracious. I think you should see good results.

First I thought it was thrips. I saw them for sure. But if I look closer on the leaves, I’m not so sure anymore that this signs come from thrips. What is it? Maybe a sign of Phosphorus deficiency? Ph in soil too low? I will order a digital ph tester for the soil for sure later. I didn’t measured it yet. But maybe you can tell me already what’s the problem. I would be thankful for your opinions from all you guys.

I totally deleted it from my brain. But now I start to understand something, because I smell it all time if I open my water tap. They chlor already 1 month the public water system here in my town, because they found coli bacteria in water analysis. Now I really need help. How bad is chlor water for my plants? What would you do? @ItsOzzie @Wargoat @BluntForceTrauma420

I use these.

I fill 5 gallon buckets and leave them for 24 hours or more. This allows the chlorine to dissipate. I have used water straight from the tap with only adjusting the ph. It’s not the end of the world but if the levels are high it can cause some issues. Also at pet stores they sell dechlorination products I’ve used in the past that work well just look for ones without electrolytes and other additives.

I use a good fridge filter. Then let the water sit for about a day. Seems to work fine. But, keep in mind. Im using 20 gallon grow bags. Its a lot of soil to buffer the ph and undesirables.

I filter my chlorinated water. But also leaving it sit without a top the chlorine dissipates. Nice looking grow.:star_struck::seedling::potted_plant:

I changed some things today. I hope it helps on this journey…

I hope it was not so much stress for the girls, but I really had the feeling that it was necessary.

I don’t regret it. I will realize it next weeks.

Week 4, 26th day in flower.

Is bud size ok for 26th day or little bit too small. I’m not sure. What do you think @ItsOzzie @BluntForceTrauma420 @Wargoat ? Sure I had some issues over the last 86 days of growing. I hope they will forgive me some bad days and decisions

That’s the joy of this plant they almost always seem to forgive! Your ladies look great! The only true way to judge would be seeing a plant that suffered zero issues. But that’s neither here nor there. I’d say they look on track for their age.
