Have a grow log. Never known how to copy and paste it here. But anyways, I’m a newbie like first time ever. I failed to put them into flowering. I waited WAY too late. Should I just say F it and tear them up and replace? They are so close to the lights and the limbs to me are thin but hey I’m a newbie. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO!!!
Look into super cropping, basically snapping and bending branches down and away from the light a bit. It would be a waste to scrap them in my opinion when you might be able to turn things around by getting hands on. A quick google search on super cropping should show you how to go about it better than i can explain.
I believe you posted this before and I was saying that they look just fine this is the stretching phase of flower it’s typically last 3 weeks after first signs of pistils… after week four they begin to bulk up
Yes. I guess my real question is are the lights too close? Why I put my hand in picture. The lights are as high as i can get them. Them stretching will put them touching the lights. Wondering how to remedy.
Csn you when flowering?
Ahhh okok all you have to do is get a net or like someone else said super crop them it’s a high stress method so I wouldn’t do it too many times or you can tie the off too the side of your pots pulling them horizontally away from the light but if your leaves start to taco or canoe or turn yellow or your buds bleach then it is too close to the light what light are you using?
Looks like you still have a good 2-3 feet away from canopy you should be fine most lights recommended anywhere from 12-18 inches away from canopy during flower.
Thank you. Always value your expertise.
Not a problem still learning myself lbvs hope I could help.
I do it up until the end of week 3 of flower and try to avoid doing any more after that. It sounds like a crazy idea and i promise that you will be hesitant and uncomfortable the first time you try it but when you get a feel for it you can reshape whole plants in some cases so don’t be afraid even if you just start with a branch at a time.
Ok. Update. They’ve been in flowering since 1/29/23. They haven’t “fattened” up or anything i a month. Do they still have more growing? I meqn there’s literally no buds at all. ![]()
How many weeks of flower you in?
All February and March
You still got some time
Really??? So what’s the flowering time frame? I thought 6-8 weeks
Ive seen strains go as long as 14-15 weeks indoors, all comes down to variety, conditions and genetics really.
You would usually see some changes in structure and general appearance over the course of a month though so it might need further investigation
Afghanistan is the strain. Non autoflowering.
Pink toes!!! Lol and fyi your tips are extremely burnt which means you’re over feeding which can also affect your yields there are many factors that go into going granted the thing practically grows by itself but she still needs some tlc and proper treatment. As any woman has needs so does she lbvs.
Lol. My toes were showing. Hey just got them done. Crazy you say I’ve over fed I gave them nutrients the other day and it’d been about a month since. It’s not from the lights or lack of calcium?
