Early signs of nutrient burn so I tested runoff. Was off the charts 3.6 EC and the PH was 5.6. I’ve always watered at 6.3. So I tested Happy Frog right out the bag and it’s 5.7. Thoughts? I’ve flushed and got it down to 1.8 on EC and up to 6.3 ph. I guess this is more of a soil question.
I’m not sure what I’m looking for either. This is my second grow and I’m trying to learn to recognize signs. Got the food meter about 3 weeks ago and it’s definitely a tool I think everyone needs. I think I’m wanting to know when to feed, how to properly test runoff all so that I can know how much to feed. Im learning that its a lot of variables that go into it. I was super surprised when I tested the runoff and the meter was screaming that I had hot soil at 3.6 and I hadn’t fed nutrients in about 10 days.
