Need to know a soil mix thats good for autos and low maintenance and a good grow guide and also whats a good led light for a 4x4 max 4 or 5 plants total but all autos i prity much need a good guide to help me grow this great.
Welcome to the community @New2me i hope you enjoy it here and as for soil and nutrients youll probably get a few options from growers here so itll be whats available to you and in your budget. For my grows the soil that i use is foxfarm happy frog & ocean forrest its pretty good soil for starters and has a good amount of nutrients to get you buy for 3-4 weeks depending on pot and plant size. For autos i use 5g pots and 3g as well (5g is ideal but some strains do well in 3g saving on soil) i fill the pots 3/4 with the ocean forrest then use a bottle or glass of some sort and place in center of pot then fill rest of pot up with ocean forrest after ill pull the bottle out of center and fill hole with happy frog for a center plug. The happy frog is lighter and good for seedlings and by the time plant roots hit the ocean forrest shes ready for it… i mix about 20% perlite & few scoops or worm castings to my mix to help with aeration and the worm casting slow release small amounts of nitrogen & calcium.
For lighting in a 4x4 and for 4 plants a 600w should do just fine just make sure its not a small boxed one as the coverage area wont be as good when only about 2 feet away from plant or lower. Light is pretty important so having a decent light will go a long ways. You can find some pretty cheap that work well but may not last as long as a name brand but it really comes down to the person budget. Youll want a fan or two circulating air in tent as well as one pulling fresh air in, depending on temps and humidity levels you may need a dehumidifier/humidifier & heater/ac or some type of cooling system. You probably wont need all of them just something to have in mind for prepation purposes. If there is anything i can help with feel free to ask and im sure you will get more ideas from others on here
