Yes @Deanroche the questions of @HasHtronaut93 usually need a completely different thinking for the most of us who work with tested and recommended equipment.
At first I. thought: “Holly Molly, why does this guy not find out first how the process works, before he starts…” 
But inbetween I don’t find it uninteresting to question again what used to be a matter of course to me.
And you are right, next time he should certainly mix some sand into his medium, if available.
So you went back from auto’s to photo’s Dean! I thought you said that once …
