I’d keep waiting until the white hairs stop and the trichomes are amber on the bud not the leaves. Right now it still looks to have a few weeks left.

Give it another week or 2. You want your pistols to be amber not white, only a little bit of white, like 70%-90% amber pistols. Then look at the TRICHOMES on the bud. Your looking for 15% clear and under developed, 70% shadow thc TRICHOMES that are rounded at the top and look like little mushrooms, and 15% amber thrichomes. This way you’ll have the best ratio. They look beautiful tho.

Thanks for replies yall! I guess im just being impatient lol…looks great and smells amazing! Any ideas why it could take so long compared to what their website says? If i go another week or 2 will put me in 12/13 weeks

Ripping times vary for all plants even though they say an estimated time it could possibly also say that it will vary
and thats when u have to evaluate when u think its ready also depends on wait for your specific sorta high it is you want like if u chop why the tricombes are under developed (clear) the thc will not have fully developed resulting in a not to high but maybe still a very nice smoke. (Milky) is when the thc is at its highest most ppl wait for this looking for 70% milky and 30% amber to insure all tricombes have matured for the best results.

(Amber) is when the tricombes are starting to degrade some says this causes the couch lock affect.
im still learning i have only grown 2 plants so im uncertain about this happy growing.

It looks ready to chop, but you can’t 100% tell from the pictures because you need to look at the buds through a 60x microscope. When 20% of the thricomes are amber and 80% milky it’s time to chop.
Since it’s your first time getting to this point, if you don’t wanna use a microscope I would suggest you simply follow the recommended time and chop her right now before you risk thc from degrading into cbd which will ruin the effect for some people.
After you try the effects and see how you like it, leave it more or less time in the next growth. It’s personal preference.
Congrats on reaching this point!
